This week there's a game on the Switch eShop called Fernz Gate. It's an RPG so obviously I'm intrigued. It's also only $17.99 Canadian so that makes it all the more tempting.

However nobody has reviewed it yet so I have nothing to go on. It's available for Xbox One also and there's one user review on Metacritic so I decide to read it. Only to find that the reviewer who gave it 7 out of 10 is reviewing a completely different game called Hero Defense.

What the fuck? Maybe I buy it anyway. I'll only be out 20 bucks if it sucks. LOL

OK, found some reviews and it's from Kemco, you know the ones who churn out RPGs at a rate of 100 a month. LOL, not really it just seems like it.

Google 17.99 CAD and it will return at least one result that will tell you 17.99 CAD is 13.80 USD. :P

It's the same symbol for the US, Canada, and Australia.

It looks like it was made with RPG Maker. That's not to say it looks bad, it looks cool and I want it. You can play online co-op too. I'll have to look it up on XBO next time I'm on. Turn-based too. Me likey.

There seems to be a lot of games going on sale on the eShop right now, and that one is going for 13 and you get 65 coins. I figure if it is a genre you like it doesn't seem like a bad price to give it a shot, plus if you have coins you want to use it will drop the price down.
