I like that developers are doing weekly challenges. It keeps people interested in the game, and I see it as free content.
Little Forza, Little Banner Saga, Little Etrian Odyssey

I did the weekly challenge in Forza Horizon 4. There are also daily challenges, but I largely ignore those since I don't play every day. For the weekly, you are tasked with four challenges using the car they ask you to drive. For doing it, you win credits you can spend on special Horizon Edition cars, clothing or wheel spins (random rewards). The rewards are in a special store and use the currency you can only get through these challenges and periodically occuring Forzathons, which are multiplayer challenges that take place at different locations on the map. It's fun. I'll do it every Thursday when they drop, I think.
Then I resisted the lure of Victor Vran (Mark didn't) and played Banner Saga on easy. I got pretty deep into it. Battles are mostly easy but enemies tend to gang up on my weakest, or most damaged character before I can move him or her to safety. It's like a penalty for aggressive play, which I don't like. The AI completely ignore their own peril to take vengeance on one, mostly helpless, character. It drives me a little crazy; but, I'm going farther in battles, pursuing enemies for more rounds and winning more items. It's more fun this way, for now.
Oh, and I had time to get in an hour with Etrian Odyssey V. I'm playing on advanced difficulty. In my first expedition, I got two characters knocked unconscious; but, I made it back to the Inn and healled them up. This skill level is no joke. It's going to be hard.
Until next week probably, chao.
