This is it folks, the last day of BaD.

I didn't spend the whole hour with both of these combined. It just wasn't going to happen

Lifeless Planet

I've had this game for a while so I thought I'd give a shot. What your looking at is pretty much how it starts. I went the wrong way first off, ran out of air and passed out.

Second time I went in the right direction and barely made it to the oxygen supply. Then I trudged along not really knowing where I was going until I realized this game has platforming and a half broken jetpack that gives you a double jump of sorts.

I see a big abnormally spherical rock on top of a platform  and I just know I need to push it. After overshooting the platform twice sure enough it tells me to press the square button to push so I did.

Then I dropped down and started pushing it around wondering where the hell I'm supposed to roll this thing to. Before I could find out I pushed it towards a rock face and it disappeared.

Then I realize that I needed it as a boost to jump up the other side and it was nowhere to be found. So I quit.

  Soma

Yeah I know I mentioned Soma in a previous BaD Blog but all I remembered was the throwing pizza boxes and other shit around a room.

This time was different. While I still threw some stuff around I managed to drink the bottle of crap I was given before whatever it is they were going to do to my brain and I took the subway to the Doctor's office. The game is set in Toronto, the town I lived in from age 12 to 35. The subway went through Osgood station and it brought back many memories.

That was about as good as it got. Arriving at the doc's I find the place empty and under renovation and a door at the other side of the room with a combination lock.

After throwing bottles, books and garbage cans around for a while I found a barely readable combo and it worked.

I found myself in a hall with many doors but only one that is open. The others are all Silent Hill doors, just there to piss me off.

The room is full of computer shit and a couple of screens going nuts with activity.

But I was bored so I quit.

Until next year Pixlbittalion. Have a parting panda.

Ciao bambini.

Lifeless Planet looks interesting, but I hate it when they punish you for doing the wrong thing with no information to guide you.

I was like, isn't Soma set in an underwater facility? *google google* Oh, the opening is in Toronto. I guess the beginning part is more than an hour long!

It is when you play like me. Getting out of my apartment and finding the combo to the doctor's office door. That's an hour. LOL

Actually I spent an hour on both games total, that's why I put them together.
