From One Sandbox to Another

From Forza Horizon 4, to Crackdown 3, to Just Cause 4, I was jumping from one sandbox game to another today. I also squeezed in a little Wargroove.

Forza Horizon 4. I did the daily challenges and one round of unranked freeroam adventure with real players. Looks like I won't get the 7 daily challenges this week. I'll get one more tomorrow and be one short again. Freeroam adventure is sort of fun but I'm always at the back of the pack. I don't know how some get first place every time, probably just familiarity with the routes.

Wargroove. i got beat on a level and saw that I was on Hard difficulty, which was the default. I notched it down one and got beat again. Apparently, my trebuchets weren't enough. I'll try again tomorrow.

Crackdown 3. I convinced Mark to speed run the game. We went right after the top boss and beat her in under 30 minutes. I drove a Agency spider vehicle up the skyscraper to initiate the boss battle. Mark caught up by fighting his way through the inside of the building, and we beat her tech-dragon really fast.

I got the Xbox Game Pass app last week and remotely downloaded Just Cause 4 to my Xbox One. It was ready when I turned on the system today - very cool. I fell in love with the tether and its balloon attachment. Man, this game is going to be fun. There was also wing-suiting, parachutting, car chases and rocket launchers going boom in the night. I'm going to be setting everything afloat with balloons for a while though. It's fun to listen to the enemies complain while they're suspended in the air. I don't bother to put them out of their misery.

Ha ha, Just Cause looks hilarious. Those guys don’t deserve mercy, I’m sure!

There was so much more as I logged some good hours into it today. I was listening to them yell for help and cursing and all. I discovered I can then attach boosters to them and watch them fly around. Once, one of those guys attached to a balloon was also attached to an enemy car somehow. I watched the car take off and drag him along with it. The tether is so useful and amazing. There's no end to the wacky stuff you can do with it.
