I finally got every achievement in the XBO version of Borderlands 2. This is the version from The Handsome Collection and includes the new DLC that attempts to link the story to Borderlands 3. It isn't the end, though, because the 360 verison is playable and has its own set of achievements, which i haven't finished yet. I'm going to go back to it and try and 100% it too.

There were a lot of things I had to do to complete the XBO version of the game. The last achievement was to get level 1 on every non-location specific challenge. I had to use a shotgun exclusively for a long time to complete one set of challenges, but the most tricky was a micellaneous challenge involving finding a rogue, mini-robot called Jenkins.

I knew it was a randomly occuring enemy that pops up out of a set of boxes within a specific area of the game. I knew where it was and tried it many times with no luck. This was all I had left to complete the game, so I looked online for a better, less time consuming, solution. A very specific set of conditions needed to be met to optimize the chances of it appearing. One of them was to get as many people into the game as possible. Mark and I entered this area and opened boxes a dozen times or so, finally getting Jenkins to appear and dispatch him. Then we had to do it a second time, once for each of us.

The whole process of revisiting B2 for these achievements was a lot of fun. I could be done, but I noticed the 360 version of the game has its own set of achievements, so I'm going to play that version to get the 10 achievements I don't have. I'd like to complete both versions of the game on Xbox.

you're gonna go after the 360 achievements too? That's determination!

I did most of them way back in 2012 but left some achievements I thought were too hard. Now that I know I can do them, I'm gonna do them.

Thankfully the cloud saves I made back then are still accessable on XBO.
