I made some progress on Pre-Sequel today. I'm playing just for story. I want to finish the game and DLC before B3 comes out. Then I dowloaded some new stuff and tried Old Man's Journey from Game Pass. Interesting and beautiful game. More below.

Borderlands Pre-Sequel: I'm getting deeper into the weapons. I'm playing as Wilhelm. He's the one who uses drones as his special. I've decided to specialize in laser weapons. But I also have a sniper rifle for shots I can get in from a distance and a rocket launcher to help me revive from second winds. I have a  Vladof sniper rifle that I like a lot. Vladof weapons specialize in rapid fire rate, fast reload and large clip size. I'm sticking with this maker for my sniper rifles. I'm using Moxxi's Vibra-Pulse laser weapon. It's great with shock damage but I'm worried it'll eat my batteries because it makes the controller vibrate a lot. I'm also not taking on "tough" missions that are beyond my current level. If the story mission becomes "tough", I go do side missions until I level up. I'm taking my time and enjoying all the zany dialog.

Old Man's Journey: This is a 2D puzzle/adventure game with no text whatsoever. You control a bearded old man. You can drag the landscape around to enable him to cross the screen and reveal new areas. Every so often you take a seat on a bench and remember something from his life. It's touching. I'm about half way through and really enjoying it. The artwork is very lovely. You can also click around the screen and make things happen just for fun or sometimes to advance the story. It's cool.

That's it for me this week. I work the next four days. I'm waiting on news from a new job. Maybe I'll get it and start in a few weeks full time. I'm hoping and can't wait to get there.

I've looked at Old Man's Journey. Sometimes games like that are really great.

I'm about half way through. I certainly love the art design of it.

I didn't enjoy pre-sequel as much as the previous games but I did like the sections where you had to leave the oxygen bubble and try to get to another spot that had one. Those were some crazy times.

It has some neat new features like being in low gravity where you could float up and then smash down for damage.
