Save carries over to full game when it drops next month. Lets you check out some of the new features and if you have Smash Bros. you get a spirit for playing the demo.

I'm downloading the demo right now as I type this. I don't know if I'll get the full game, but if you can play the whole demo in 16-bit mode, that may sell me on the game right there. Plus it'll give me something to do on my lunch hours since I'm giving up on Cadence of Hyrule. That game kinda sucks.
Unfortunately the demo won't let you play the 16 bit mode. I was going to try it that way but it doesn't let you choose it.
I played the first area in the demo in 3-D and kept wishing I could see it in 16-bit. If I do get this game, I'm going to play it ALL in 16-bit! I didn't get a spirit in Smash for playing the demo, though. Do I have to finish it?
Liked that game so much that if I had a Switch, I'd buy the game and play it all over again.

It has new sections and the full version lets you play the game in 16 bit mode
I'm almost at Heliodor right now and in reading an article on the demo I've found out that it lets you play the first 10 hours of the game. Wow.

I have the full game on PS4 and still need to play it, darn it. Too many games.
