My friend was trying to get me a Hallmark Pac-Man cabinet ornament but this came instead. It's by Boston America Corp and smaller. I think it has candy in it too. It's cool though. Check it out.

He's getting me the Hallmark one, It's exactly like the real cabinet. That's what I'm after, a good replica. I'm grateful for his efforts.

Still pretty cool though.

For some reason I thought the art on it wasn't the same as the original but it is.

Yeah I have that Pac-Man cabinet mint tin.  I also have mint tins shaped like Ms. Pac-Man and Space Invaders cabinets.

That's cool.

I was reading a New York Times book about the 80s yesterday and they had an old article about video games. The picture they used was the screen of Pac-Man but one thing was different. Pac-Man had legs! Do you know about that?

It could possibly be Crazy Otto, the Ms. Pac-Man prototype.

You're right, I just looked it up. It was used in a New York Times article for Nov '81 with the "Pac-Man video game screen" caption. Weird right? It's possible this book I'm reading The Times of the Eighties publishhed by The New York Times just used the wrong screen shot but maybe it's the original one. It's still wrong either way. Ha ha.

I always liked the cabinet artwork for Pac-Man. I think I liked it better than the Japanese art, for once.

Now here's a bizarre version of Pac-Man. This is the box art for the Atari 8-bit versions. I actually had this box art.

Pac-Man should not have legs. What's wrong with just a floating orb? I can deal with that. It's like a sunfish but rounder.
