I like the electric shotgun.
been playing DQ for switch. there are some considerable differences from the ps4. I just had a side quest that went into 2D old school dragon quest style.

Mark and I are almost done a third playthrough of Borderlands 3, this time with Mayhem level 1 activated. Mayhem mode increases the difficulty, adds more badass enemies and gives you better loot. At this point, we're both using almost nothing but Legendary gear. It's still fun to find that slightly better weapon or shield.
The weapons in B3 are really fun to use because there are so many different ones. I've been switching out different weapons to see how they perform. I tried a pistol that runs on a motor. It can overheat whereupon my character will pull out a spray can to cool it down. I have an assault rifle that shoots corrosive rounds. After a kill an explosion spreads out and damages all nearby. I have a shotgun that shoots two large electric orbs that are connected by an arc of electricity which damages all that gets in its way. My rocket launcher shoots at least six rockets that home in on a target that you can create by using a certain type of grenade.
All these weapons look unique and complex. Most of them can be switched into several modes that do different things. I had an assault rifle once that has a shotgun attached to it. Pull the switch and you can go from one to the other. I would switch to the shogun to get a Second Wind when knocked down. And these are just the weapons.
Shields come in many varieties there are artifacts that give you special abilities and class mods that activate certain abilities in your skill trees. I go into a special mode during battle to temporarity boost my damage and accuracy.
So there is a lot to think about and play with during battles keeping the game interesting on mutliple playthroughs.
