Happy Thanksgiving! Thinking About Christmas

Thanksgiving doesn't have to be about turkey; in fact, I am having salmon. It doesn't even have to be about meat. I'm having a vegan chestnut stuffing I made this morning. I hope it goes over well. Here's a pic:

I've been adding cooking to my list of hobbies lately.

I also starting thinking about Christmas at Thanksgiving which is why I broke out my collection of Christmas Skylanders. I have three, and soon all four, of the physical Xmas Festive Editions made. Here's a pic and description.

Xmas Skylanders

So left to right is: Missile-Tow Dive-Clops from SuperChargers, Jolly Bumble Blast from Swap Force, Winterfest Lob-Star from Trap Team, and I'll soon have Jingle Bell Chompy Mage from Imaginators. I've set up the portal from Trap Team so I can play them in their respective games for a little bit; although, you don't have to play them in the games they came with. They will appear in any Skylander game. Trap Team, Swap Force, Superchargers and Imaginators all work on Xbox One too. Adventures (the first one) and Giants wont. They are stuck back with Xbox 360.

I also noticed the other day that Trap Team and Swap Force aren't available digitally on Xbox One. Luckily I still have my physical copies, but I would like digital ones for ease of use. I find it very strange that I can't download them.

Also, what I just now saw online is that there are two more Xmas Skylanders, Holiday Wash Buckler and Merry Snap-Shot. They could be gotten through the iPad Skylanders game Lost Islands which is now unavailable. I think they weren't physical characters either, so I really don't care about them.

What else can I do in the game space to celebrate the coming of Christmas?

I set up my bedroom tree today. Tomorrow we will start on the main ones. Thanksgiving is when my Xmas spirit officially kicks in.

I never set up a tree myself. I let my reletives do it and then visit them. I always think about doing it though.

HOnestly, I'd prefer salmon. I love salmon. Turkey is just ok.

The salmon was great but I do miss the traditional dishes.

I don't mind turkey, but it's such a dry meat that I prefer it mixed with something, like a sandwich or a salad.  Just plain by itself is one of the blandest meats ever.  Luckily we serve ham as well, and I usually get more of that.

Those are neat Christmas Skylanders.

The gravy and stuffing is what makes the turkey better to me. I don't mind doing something different like fish though, or even a vegie based turkey substitute.
