Borderlands 3 DLC for the most part today, but it frustrated me, as Borderlands games do from time to time, and I tried a few other games while I cooled off enough to return to it.

Borderlands 3 DLC: Guns, Love and Tentacles

My friend Mark finished this but I didn't because I had some trouble with several of the bosses. I still can't get a handle on how to choose the best equipment. It's just too complicated. Eventually I switched to the easiest mode and stuck with a favorite, a smg. It seemed to go well, but Mark jumped in the game to help finish a boss that regenerates health. Otherwise it would've taken me an hour or more to beat it. I don't care anymore about difficulty, just let me get through it and hear the story and do my exploration of the environments.

Descenders

I reinstalled this mountain bike racing game to get the rewards points, the conditions of which were changed to be a little easier. I still didn't get it even though I played probably 6 of what I think are "sessions". I only need 2 for the rewards quest. I got to like the game a bit more playing it a lot. I unlocked a forest area and a desert area. I also got a new bike that handles a bit better than the starter one, which was driving me crazy with its loose controls. There have been some problems with rewards quests lately, some of which were fixed since the last time I played, but clearly there are some problems remaining.

TrainSim 20,

This was put on Game Pass so I had to try it. It's an incredibly accurate recreation of modern trains and real world locations. I chose the New York one and played all the tutorials, but when I got to start a route on my own I couldn't get the train's doors to shut. I kept hitting the right control in the drivers area but the mission wouldn't progress. It seemed broken because I did exactly as I was taught in the tutorial. Ah well, it promised to be fun but if I can't do something simple like closing a door, I guess I'm not cut out for this engine driver business.

That's a day. I hope all of you are well. I feel like I live in a cabin in the woods right now, which isn't a bad thing for me, unless it's like that one in the movie, then forget it.

That sucks about the train sim. Actually sounds like an interesting game.

It's really cool and even presents you with a kind of quest line instead of just leaving it open ended like a lot of sim games. I was about to get really hooked into it when I suddenly couldn't close those doors.

Yeah that train sim seems cool.  Too bad you couldn't get the doors closed.

You put a key in, switch the power on, open the doors with a button, wait for the passengers to load, then hit the close button, turn off the power, pull out the key, get in the driver's seat and move on out. What's so hard? I did it in the tutorial section like that. Next time I'll just replay the tutorial and see if I missed something. I can't imagine what else I would have to do there.
