500 Carriers Down in Flames

I got the 500 Carriers achievment in EDF 2025 and began season 3 of TellTale's Batman. There are new Game Pass rewards quests and tomorrow new free Games with Gold. The achievement leaderboards have also reset for the new month. I was first among my friends in March. I'm not sure how much I'll really try for it again in April, but it's fun to pretend I'm going all out.

The 500 Caririers took a while. I ran through about 8 levels with all four character types on easy and on harder difficulties to see if I could do it. I beat hard difficulty on some and one on hardest. I got a new sniper rifle for my Wingdiver that was an improvement. I don't think I have anything left to go for in this game at this point. I reinstalled EDF 2017 to see if there was anything more to do. There isn't. I've beaten that game on Easy, Normal and Hard. It's clear from the medals on each level that I tried hardest and inferno before and won them on only a few levels. I might play a little bit of it anyway just to compare with 2025. Then I might reinstall EDF Insect Armageddon and see if I left anything to do in that game.

There are new rewards quests up on Xbox, so I'll be playing Kingdom Hearts 3 and Rocket League sometime this week. I've played both before to different degrees. I'm excited to dig into them again.

I also might play some Uncharted 2 becaust that's my classic pick for April. My yearlong classic game list is currently under scrutiny by me and may radically change. I'm thinking it's a stupid idea, and I should come up with something else, or just stop thinking about these things.

Well, this game is truely unfair in a lot of ways. After several hundred hours playing this over the years, I still don't have every weapon in the game, and it seems that the bar was set so high that nobody else has them either. I could go on and on about this too. So many aspects of the game frustrate me and seem pointless from a design perspective.

Oh I love Uncharted 2. Heck I should finish the orignal Uncharted so at least I'll have the first 3 games under my belt. Game Pass and Games with Gold sound like they're worth the money because it always gives you a task to accomplish and breathes new life into games.

I'm really enjoying Game Pass. I love to try new things and this saves me a lot of money doing it.
