It's what happens when you make a smoothy out of blueberries. It's darn good and even better with gaming.

Today I played a whole bunch of EDF Insect Armageddon with Mark. We played it co-op, we played it solo, I played online with randoms, I played it solo with no bots. I played this game every which way and only squeezed one achievement out of it that I didn't already have. The 100 Carriers destryoed achievement. It doesn't sound like many compared to the number you can get in EDF 2025, but this game only has 15 levels and maybe 6 destroyable carriers on Normal difficulty. So I was happy about that at least.

I was going for the achievement for getting all armor levels on all four fighter types. I thought I had done it when I maxed out my Trooper on Normal, but it seems that you can get more levels when you play on Hard and Inferno difficulties. I've only truely maxed out an armor on one fighter type. So I need to play on Hard and Inferno with the other three. I guess I'll try that if I play tomorrow.

I also really want the achievement for all weapons with one fighter type but I did the numbers and realized I'll need 1 million more credits. I'm going to further math tomorrow to see how long that could take. EDF games are all time hogs, and I'm only going so far to get these achievements. I sort of resent the amount ot time they ask of you for some of these achievements. I wonder how few people have actually 100% completed this or any other EDF game. It's got to be a very small percentage or even zero, because who would grind a game so much unless it had a strong social component?

Just managing to play a video game a little bit is an achievement for me these days. Laughing

If it wasn't for being able to play with my friend Mark, I might not play very much at all. At least I think that's what would happen.
