I played this game in Game Pass last week. It was for rewards points, but I really liked it and kept playing. Here's the trailer.

You play as the red blob of hungry mouths. You try and outwit the humans in the underground facilities you have infected. The controls are interesting. You move with the left stick and reach out with your tenacles with the right. Eventually you come across toxic waste barrels which, when you break into them, change your DNA and give you a new skill like being able to spit a sticky web that immobilizes people. It's delightful to pull an attacker apart and eat his/her limbs one by one. You can get shot or shocked though, which will reduce your size and eventually kill you.

This game is cool. I will play it more.

I've heard of this. What a great idea. There should be more games where you're a monster destroying puny humans. Laughing

I like the Destroy All Humans and Overlord series to get my evil on.

Kind of sounds like The Ooze, a SEGA Genesis game.  You can play it on some, but not all, of the classic SEGA collections.

I have a lot of Genesis collections. I'll have to look for The Ooze.

Man this game sounds/looks cool. It's like a horror movie but you're the monster and you can go nuts.

There was one sequence where I played as the humans too. It was short though. Mostly you are the beast.

I played this game! Yes, I thought it was such a neat idea done well, and not too long. It will be on my September recap.

It was fun. I should finish it. Too bad there are so many games on my system right now. I may not get back to it.
