Last Weekend's Gaming

I'm finally getting around to it.

I played more Hotshot Racing. I've got two more achievements I think I can do. The rest was for multiplayer, and I haven't had very good luck finding a game. I played one Cops and Robbers mission online and the next one crashed mid-race, probably because I was winning. Sore losers. But I can get the one for unlocking every customization but it requires winning a Grand Prix with each of the ten characters to unlock all the dashboard bobbleheads. Another one requires 16 wins in Arcade mode. I've already done 8 and possibly at least 10. There isn't a stats sheet anywhere in the game, so I have no idea what the real number is. It's easily attainable though. That'll be for this weekend to do.

I also returned to Farm Together. I created my third farm and started from scratch again. I'm using no plan whatsoever. I'm just planting whatever the quests require as close to my starting point as possible. I'm not separating plants from animals or from fish, all's together all higglypiggly. I can't seem to "win" this game by planning, so no planning will be the new strategy.

What did you all play last weekend?

I'm working on playing and reviewing many different little games.  It's definitely the busy season for that.  On one of my days off, I did go to the local Top Golf and tried out their new Angry Birds golf game.  Top Golf is like a golf driving range except it's very high tech.  The Angry Birds game would read your golf swing and show it's trajectory as it knocked down structures like in Angry Birds.  I may write about it later at GamerDad.com.  I've never played real golf before, so I expected to do really badly.  But I won first place in my group both times!  I've never won anything sports related in my life!  I did well because I was able to hit the ball the hardest in my group.  I guess working out and lifting weights heavily nearly every day for two years has helped.  I've gotten really strong!

Ah, the old anarchist farmer trick, eh?

That's right. I'm starting an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We, meaning myself and the farmhands, work together without a central authority to provide for the needs of the whole community. Or, I'm just a hippie who doesn't know how to farm but is doing it anyway trusting that the Great Spirit will lead the way. Yeah, man, just like the Indians did. Pass me the kinnikinnick brother.
