Here's what I played today, not exactly the same as yesterday.

Pinball FX3: I'm trying to get it straight who does what in video game pinball today. Farsight Studios did The Pinball Hall of Fame games pre 2010. Then they did The Pinball Arcade which brought most of the same tables to current systems, but they lost the license with Bally and Williams and now just do Stern Pinball.
Zen Studios does Zen Pinball on Playstation and Pinball FX series on Xbox. It looks like they now have the Williams license because those games in simulated form (as opposed to their usual video game arcade takes on pinball) are now part of Pinball FX3.
Magic Pixel Kft released Zaccaria Pinball, a collection of tables made by Zaccaria in the late 80s for last-gen systems recently.
Okay then. i played Pinball FX 3 today and bought a few table packs so I could do some tournaments and matchmaking challenges. I have a lot of tables but they've added so many since the first Pinball FX, I'm nowhere near having a complete collection. The game has been clearly redesigned with Microsoft Windows in mind with a tile design. For some reason, it looked a bit dated to me. But it's still super fun. I was recording new high scores and comparing them with friends' scores. I played both simulated tables and arcade-style tables. Both are fun in their own ways.

Farm Together: Opened a new plot of land and planted as many crops as I could in 12x9 plots. That adds up to 108 plants each, close enough to an even 100.for me. I'm still saving up for another farmhand. My 13 farmhand fields are starting to overflow already.

Forza Horizon 4: Almost got to level 10 in the Super 7 user-created challenges. One more session should do it for that.
I won one and then lost the second race in Elimination mode. Often you have to decide whether to use roads or not. Sometimes it helps you but sometimes there is a shortcut through a field that is much better. Don't mind the sheep; you can't hit them. Large trees are made of titanium; avoid them at all costs.

Dragon Quest XI S: I finished all the side missions before approaching the Ygdrassil tree. Then I approached it and (no spoilers) things change dramatically. I'm currently on the main missions resulting from the aftermath of that encounter.
I'm still feeling my way of using tactics (read: auto-battle) in battles. Mostly I use tactics and watch them play out. If something goes wrong, I jump back in and change tactics or just take full control. Tactics work pretty well most of the time though and I like watching them.
My friend is playing alongside me in his own game and is a ways ahead of me. He completed a major event in the story and I tried not to look too much and spoil it for me. I think I was successful and remain ignorant.

And that's a day.

PS: Somebody tell me why the Rewards screen on Xbox One continually freezes nearly every time I open it?

It's hard to keep up with all the pinball stuff.  The only reason why I keep up with the Pinball FX and Zen Pinball stuff is because I'm on good terms with Zen Studios and have been reviewing pretty much all of their games since...well it's been over ten years anyway!  Maybe longer!

If I remember right, Pinball Fx started in 2007, so definitely over a decade.

I've never been much into autobattling, though I think I was using it a little in one of the Etrian Odyssey. Turn based battling just relaxes me in a way that I don't find anywhere else.

I used to never use auto-battle in anything, but right now, I just feel like it. My friend sits next to me playing the same game and does everything manually. My only gripe with tactics (auto) in DQXI is that it doesn't use the pep powers quite as often as I'd like. Interestingly, in the Tickington 2D levels, you can auto-battle but easily choose your own pep powers. In 3D it's somewhat hidden so you can't access it without making your character fully manual. I switched to manual once or twice to complete side quests that asked me to use specific pep powers. If you kept it in auto, they would never get used.

It's a thing. I'm wondering if there's an official IFPA youtube channel and whether I can watch some coverage of the tournaments coming later this month. It'd be funny to watch it like a sport.

I dig watching any competition I understand the rules of, honestly. Love me some fighting game footage.

I looked up boxing. There isn't a date yet for the big heavyweight fight but I'm keeping a watch on it. I remember playing Fight Night Round 3 on a lark a while back and found it pretty fun.

I'm enjoying Forza Horizon 4 but I'm sticking to the races and barns right now. Do the Super 7's have to be unlocked or are they available right away?

The Super7 was part of a recent update I believe, so it should just show up on your map.

I drove past a barn the other day (which was empty) and wished I could look for more of them, but I've done them all.

I saw the little icon pop up after I hit a certain level, unless I just now noticed it and it was always there.

Every time I jump in I try and find something new. They're always adding stuff.
