Car was in the shop so didn't get to my friend's place til later on. Played only a few titles.

Royal Tower Defense. I played a handful of levels but started out failing a lot. I decided to just blanket the entire map with cheap towers and upgrade them. This got me a perfect score on one map. Then I tried to mix it up with other towers so I could see all their upgrades and such and did less well. Apparently, it's best to just fill the screen with cheap towers but that is kind of boring so I do my own thing. I managed to get 4 or 5 more levels done though. I'm on the edge of annoyed though because I can't just work a strategy instead of building only one type of tower.

Zuma: The original Zuma seems harder than Zuma Revenge. I can't seem to get past level 5-6. I decided to remove it from my drive.

Minecraft: I found those elusive bees on a seed world that features the flower forest biome. Seems this is the best place to get a random bee nest. So now I'm building bee hives to expand the number of bees so I can harvest a lot of honey. Then I'll have to dig for copper and then figure out how to shine them up to get the last achievement. My friend Mark is doing the same. We're racing each other to get that last achievement. Fun.

I should mention a game I looked up and then my friend bought and played, Ziggurat. This is by Milkstone Studios, the devs who did Farm Together. It's a first-person fantasy game exactly like the old PC game Heretic. It's fast magic shooting fun ala Doom in a fantasy setting. I watched my friend play it and it seems great. I'm just waiting for a sale to pick it up.

Do you guys make any farms/automated farms in Minecraft? Only one I have done to date is a mob spawner up in the sky. It's impressive what kinds contraptions people have invented in this game and how they've figured out the mechanics to such a detailed level. Makes my brain feel small.

We always play in survival mode. All that wacky stuff needs to be done in creative for the most part. There's some cool stuff you can do. Sometimes we play creative just to drop tons of TNT everywhere. I was trying to figure out minecarts and the various ways you can get them to auto drop materials once. Creative is a good place to experiment. I figured out how to use funnels in order to make a kind of factory oven device for auto cooking a lot of materials. All that stuff with redstone is interesting. I was messing around with pressure plates, redstone and lighting once. Fun stuff.

I leave it installed for when they add new achievements I can go after. It's an incredibly small file size even with all the new updates - amazing what you can do with so little.
