Sounds like the title to a story, doesn't it? Well, it's just the contents of this blog condensed to a phrase.

I went to Classic Game Junkie's again with a friend who wanted to get a better Intellivision console and fix his Xbox controller. I looked around but didn't buy anything. I just took this photo of the valuable collectibles case.

I see a Vectrex in there with games. Dreamcast fishing controller in the box (I used to have that). Sega Mega CD. Sega Channel modem for Dreamcast. OG Xbox "fat" controller in the box. Pac-Man table-top mini arcade console. Sega Nomad handheld. My friend has that (or maybe used to have it). Slime Rancher Slimepedia. Other stuff too, that's just what jumped out for me. See what you can see.

As for playing, my friend and I bought Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on a black friday sale and have been playing it exclusively for a few weeks now. We've both beaten the game and all the side quests. I've combed every map for collectibles and gotten most of them. Last thing we started doing was the Chaos arena battles co-op. We got great loot. It was more fun that I expected because I generally dislike pure battles with no exploration. We're leveling up in there. I'll be getting the season pass next week and doing all that stuff. I hope it's still on sale on monday. Here are a few pics.

That's a dead whale. You go inside it too. Gross.

Photo mode lets you eliminate yourself from the image and apply effects of all sorts. I just liked this scene and kept it as is but removed myself.

So, it's nice to be obsessed with one game for a while, but I'm sad I didn't get to my Wii-U or Switch last month. This month I have no retro, it's all about the 2020s, so I just set up my Train in a Tin (it's a close-to-N-gauge plastic motorized train set) on the middle shelf of my TV cabinet. I'm creating a little village inside the tracks too as a Christmas thing. I'll take pics, ala Marwencol, and show them next time.

That cabinet is neat.  I have that Pac-Man tabletop and FF7 figures in storage somewhere.

I had those Tifa and Aerith Bandai figues back in the 1990s. May still have them packed away somewhere.

I've mostly been playing No Man's Sky with a side of Pokemon Scarlet and Persona 5 Royal.

I'd like to give No Man's Sky another go. I think I've played it a couple of times, both before the updates and after.
