Mostly Halo Infinite

I took a few short breaks from Halo Infinite, but my friend and I keep finding more things to do in it.

My friend Mark and I have been getting all the co-op achievements in the game as well as playing the campaign on Heroic and Legendary difficulties. What made a Legendary run seem possible was the discovery of the secret weapon, Tank Gun (we called it, Tank Head). You can find it on the third campaign level by pushing three hidden switches and then selecting one of the artillery cannons overlooking the landing pad at the end of the level. This gives you the power of a Scorpion Tank. You can't see it in your hands and it sort of breaks some of your functionality (can't throw grenades while using it), and you have to jump and shoot or hit the ground in front of you (unless you are looking up), but its desctructive power makes you invincible. . . or nearly so. We stopped our Legendary run because it wasn't fun after a while. Enemies can one-shot kill you, so you have to hang back and just pound away with the Tank Gun. We both like to get in there and brawl away.

Goofy moment while getting Mongoose related achievements

The co-op achievements were fun but some are glitched and wouldn't unlock. Sometimes Mark would get them and I wouldn't. They were usually the completionist ones like complete campaign runs, or answering all the UNSC distress calls. I tried these with mutiple save files to no avail. Maybe it'll get fixed and I'll get the achievements later?

I took several breaks from Halo Infinite with Ratchet & Clank on PS3 as part of the R&C Collection. The game looks great and I really love it, especially after I tweeked the camera controls to my liking. I love the exploration and travel from planet to planet.

Also played some of these:

Prodeus - old school FPS like a Doom or Quake
Broken Age -  a fun hour with the boy character
Crash Bandicoot 4 - Somewhat disappointed it wasn't open world, but feel it's very a very good 2.5D platformer.
Multiversus -  just played the tutorial as Shaggy and Taz.
Omori - an interesting turn-based RPG with hand-drawn art like doodles made into a game.

Because of the free-to-play nature of Multiversus, I haven't tried to play it yet.

I couldn't figure out how to play against online players. Maybe I had to qualify by finishing the beginning battles? Not my sort of game though. I just wanted to see how some of the characters were animated. Taz was fun to play.
