Got in a few more games before I packed up my Switch for a while. Check 'em out.
Dave the Diver: I played the demo of this until I got a glitch that stopped me. For some reason, the game would not acknowledge the D-pad to access the in-game phone on either my classic controller or on the joycon in the joycon grip. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the game. Here's a trailer.
You dive, spear fish, find stuff, and harvest plants and minerals. You take the fish to a Sushi Restuarant and, as a waiter, serve the customers. You also do research for a scientist, and gather matterials for weapon and suit upgrades. It's a lot of fun, if only I could open the phone.
Miitopia: I played the demo and liked it so much I wanted to buy it, but not for $50. Seems a very steep price for a 3DS game improved for Switch. I can rent it anyway from my library. I played something like it on 3DS years ago, probably Warrior's Way within Mii Plaza. It's a very casual RPG with sim elements such as feeding your crew and developing their relationships. My favorite part was using custom Miis for all the characters. I chose from a list of popular Miis, but I'd like to spend some time and make my own, perhaps, all the characters from the animated show The Tick.

I hear Dave the Diver is pretty good. I had the opportunity to review it, but I just had too much on my plate at the time.
I have Miitopia on the 3DS so I didn't get it on the Switch. I stopped playing Miitopia on the 3DS when they forced me to make all new Mii characters and start over from scratch at one point in the game. I was like, 'nah I'm not doing that.' As far as "Mii" games go, I think I'd rather have a Switch version of Tomadatchi Life.
Miitopia is neat, just not worth $50, no way.
