Metacritic must be harsh.
October's First Playlist

Looking forward because there's only one week left to this month. I'm making a playlist from the years 2016-2018. I've already changed my plan for next year, but I'm sticking to this 2024 plan until the end. So three year's worth for October seen through the lens of Metacritic's highest ranked games. Here's my first playlist taken from all the games rated 90 or better. It's short.
Forza Horizon 4
So I've played this game to heck and back plus all the DLC. Is there more to do? You bet. Achievements galore, but I'll see just what I really want to go after. Most of what I have left are the difficult ones or ones I don't enjoy going after like perfect drift scores. Yuk, I hate drifting for medals. But, I'll see. I'm sure something will be interesting to do.
Forza Horizon 3
It's been a while now. I can't even remember where this one takes place. Was it the Australian one? I'll watch that trailer above. But just like FH4, I'm sure I have things I can do in it. Maybe by the first week or two I'll have exhausted all I want to revisit. I love the FH series. I'm even tempted to get a Xbox One again so I can play a physical copy of the game and have it on my shelf.
Into the Breach
I was really excited to finally play a Subset Games project. Their last one, FTL (a spaceship sim) was only on PC. I heard a lot about it and wanted to play it but couldn't. I played Into the Breach on Switch (also on PC and iOS) and found it incredibly difficult right from the start. So I didn't play much of it. I can't wait to revisit it and see what I can do this time.
My next list covers games rated 85-89 and it's a long one and much more interesting, but I'll save that until I finish with the above. I have a feeling I'll exhaust those three in a week having played them all before.
