My 3DS is now my platform of choice (At least until August)

Well as some of you already know, my birthday was yesterday and I've been busy spending birthday money. Most of the money came from my bank account but I did get $50 from my mum and $30 from my daughter. I tried to talk my wife into letting me buy a Vita but was shot down almost immediately. So I made her buy me new 'phones for 50 bucks and picked out another 50's worth of stuff on my own.

So what did I buy?

Well I got Ni No Kuni for $30 last weekend. Other than that my purchases have been 3DS related.

I picked up New Super Mario 2 for $25, and two copies of Pilot Wings Resort for a fiver apiece, I already mentioned I bought Soul Hackers recently and today I picked up Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D in a deal that will see me getting $10 off Animal Crossing: New Leaf next month so that's cool. I also preordered Shin Megami Tensei IV for July 16th. I'm really excited for that one.

Today I also picked up a $20 eShop card and downloaded Crimson Shroud and Starship Damrey.

All in all it looks like I'll be spending a lot of time on my 3DS balanced off with Ni No Kuni on PS3 and maybe some Metal Gear which should please GH.

Anyway with this work thing going on I have a backlog of 71 friends blogs to sift through. Please forgive me if I do not comment on your blog. I love you all equally but I'm old and I tire easily. LOL

Happy belated birthday! I think GH might have skipped town or is sneaking about. I read a comment where he said he doesn't feel like blogging anymore. That makes me sad. I don't blame ya on sticking with the 3DS. Microsoft ain't looking too good right about now lol.

My wife actually saves me from myself. I'm too fucking compulsive. Ok maybe games and stuff are not the end of the the world but I'd be dead now if it wasn't for her so it's not so bad. :)

Happy (quite) belated birthday!

I have a 3DS and like it a lot. I need to buy some more games for it, but I've got a nice collection of DS titles, plus a few I've purchased in the eShop. It's a keen little system, isn't it?

Oops. Dyslexia. Anyway, I preordered Shin Megami Tensai 4 last week, too. Those first printing incentives got me. Got Project X Zone, so 3DS is going to be my platform of choice for the summer as well. Going to download Animal Crossing as my first attempt at the series, because it might make me addicted and need it on my system at all times. It's going to be tough to find time for the consoles, much less another handheld, so I think that your wife probably did a good thing in shutting you down.

But new shiny toys are so cool! I've been shooting myself down repeadedly as well. I take a lot of convincing.

Happy belated birthday! Nice grab on Ni No Kuni; $30 is the lowest I've ever seen for it. I bought it for $40 but it's a good buy no matter what. I'm still enjoying my Vita but I'd like to buy a 3DS someday.

Man I wish I had the means to play that game. Luckily I'm starting Ys 7 for the psp which is an rpg I've wanted to play for a REALLY long time.

I figured at 5 bucks apiece I could sell them for more. I played a bit of one of them it seems like fun. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I don't feel any older.
