5. Stephen Lynch

His voice is brilliant, he's an awesome singer, and he's funny as hell. His songs are quite dark, but he get's away with it with his boyish charm. Offensive? Yeah, but you can't really hate him.

4. Eddie Izzard

A lot of people like to think of Eddie Izzard as one of the unofficial Monty Python members, because he is both insanely intelligent and quite silly at the same time. He's all kinds of awesome.

3. Tim Minchin

Ah Tim. I love the bastard. He's really smart, he's really good at piano and he's quite a great composer. He sings about topics ranging from religion to blow up dolls and politics. This song is brilliant because it's friggin hilarious. Sorry it's long, but damn it's clever and funny as hell.

2. Jim Jefferies

I love Jim Jefferies. He tells things exactly how he sees them and doesn't sugarcoat them. He's offensive, but he always has reason. Whether he's telling you how terrible he feels about having depression, telling stories about taking his crippled friend to a brothel, or commenting on religion, he always tells things the way he sees them in a way that is both smart and blunt. He's very Australian, and very funny.

1. Dylan Moran

I've seen this bit a billion times and I'm still in hysterics when I watch them. Dylan Moran just has such a fine grasp of language, the kind that you know he worked really hard to phrase just right but he passes it off as the effortless ramblings of a drunken insane man. He is absolutely fantastic!

I am a fan of Stephen Lynch.   Craig Christ, he don't turn water into wine, but into cold coors lite....

Ah man, I remember Stephen Lynch very well, and "Storm" is brilliant.

Jim Jefferies seems like an Australian Seth MacFarlane in a way.

In looks he does. Their comedy is nothing alike though. Storm is a phenomenal beat poem.

"I'm feeling quite concerned, my semen must've turned, 'cause damn that's an ugly baby..."

Anyway, good list, Blake. You've got good taste, which is another way of saying that you like the same things I like. :P
