Batman Game Ads, Scribblenauts and Harley Quinn

I came across a few more game ads for Batman Arkham Origins and Scribblenauts: Unmasked and scanned them. For BAO I thought I'd look back at all the Batman Arkham ads since I managed to collect one for each game over the years.

This one is for Batman Arkham Asylum and is my favorite. It's so detailed and has a lot of environments in the background.

The one for Arkham City isn't bad either. It has a washed out look, almost monochrome. It has a good dramatic composition though.

Batman Arkham Origins is the least interesting in my opinion. All of them focus on Batman himself but this one takes out all other elements. I think Batman's villains are way more interesting than he is, so I'd rather see the main villain of each game on the ads.

Then I found this Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure ad which looks really neat. It's so colorful and cute. I've always been curious about the series but never played any of the games. This one lets you conjure any character from the DC universe like Batman, or Superman etc... I would conjure up Harley Quinn every time. She's my favorite of the Gotham City Sirens (a comic series I love featuring Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy). Happily there's a new comic just out focusing on her which is pretty good even though it isn't written by Harley Quinn creator Paul Dini.

I love how adorable the Scribblenauts one is, but I have to say that the Arkham Origins is probably may favourtie out of the bunch.  That is mostly because it has the least amount of clutter.  Get rid of all the stuff at the bottom and Asylum is the best.

Yea, I get that the Origins one is the most direct and clear in it's message. It grabs your eye a little better than the others. I mean, Batman is staring at you like he wants to slap some explosive gel on you!

But I agree that Asylum is best if you get rid of all that nonsense at the bottom that takes up almost 1/3 of the image.

i've been quite intrigued by the scribblenauts game as I'm a bit of a comics nerd.  IT looks like it might be kind of cool though.

It has something like 2000 DC characters you can conjure? I didn't know DC had so many.

I hope I get to review the Scribblenauts Unmasked game.  I've reviewed all the others, even the one on iPad!

Oh cool. I can't wait to read it.

I love the promotional art for Arkham City. The whole nearly monochrome with splashes of color thing is really cool I think. And if you wanna try a Scribblenauts game, I saw Super Scribblenauts (which is the only I've played; it's quite good) at Target this weekend for $15. Might wanna check that out if you're interested.

I do, but I've been spending like a fish lately and just finished another shopping list of things to get. Also, I am now playing six games at once. One more might just have me running around a field babbling incoherently saying something like, "games, games, more games, ha ha, games" etc...

Hmm, yes, I see your point...

I need to get back into Batman again. I was turned off in the past when the game came with Online Pass. Now that it's gone and a new game is coming out it's about time I should see what I've missed, besides the ads of course.

I played about 50% of Arkham Asylum before the stealth sections began to piss me off. But I really loved the fighting in that game and the story. I need to go back and finish it and then play Arkham City. I'm so far behind on that stuff.

The new one isn't by Rocksteady, which worries me, but I'm interested to play it.
