Hope all my friends here have a great holiday season.

Since I'm broke I've been looking out for bargains and I've picked up:

Arkham City Game of the Year Edition (360)

Bayonetta (360)

Fable III (360)

Obscure Aftermath (PSP)

Dissidia 012 Duodecim (PSP)

All for 10 bucks each. They're used but complete and in great condition. Actually if you see me buying 360 games from now on you can assume that they are used. That way I can give M$ the middle finger and it feels good. LOL

I also picked up Anachronox and Omikron from GOG for 8 bucks total and with my daughters Amazon gift card I got Code of Princess (3DS) which arrived yesterday.

Happy Holidays Peter! I got Anachronox off GOG too. It seems awesome from the little bit that I played of it. I'm kinda glad I'm broke right now. The Steam sales are utterly ridiculous and I don't need any more games added to my insane backlog lol.

I didn't like Bayonetta. I know it's contrary for a game nerd to say that but I just hated it, and not just because of the character, but because of the gameplay.

I had trouble with the gameplay too. I played the demo when it came out and I couldn't see what was happening with all the explosive graphics around Bayonetta. I felt like I was just mashing buttons blindly. Still, I kinda want to go pick it up and give it another shot since I love over-the-top rediculous boss battles like I've seen from reviews of the game.

I forgot all about Code of Princess. I want to get that game.

I was a little disappointed with Fable 3, but I still enjoyed it enough to play through it twice. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Bayonetta. I played it on the 360. I got sick of that song though. You'll know what song when you play the game. Damn, I use to really like that song. I also didn't like the levels that were homages to other past games.

I also got Arkham Asylum GOTY on sale, through Steam. I beat your sale by $5. Then again, you own the game, I just own a license to it, so I guess that's about even, really. lol
