The Mako is quite a vehicle, but sometimes a planet can get too mountainous. I actually had to return to the Normandy because I got stuck, surrounded by unscalable cliffs. The views were stunning, but that was enough mountain climbing for me. From then on, I stayed in the valleys unless there was a clear path to higher ground.

I have a similar problem flying in a few games. It's fun for a while, then a lot of the terrain starts to look the same, and I get lost.

At least it's pretty in the game you played, some of the games I played, the problem was the ugly sameness of the terrain.

A lot of the planets you land on in Mass Effect are pretty similar but a few are different. I don't mind though because it feels realistic, like they asked an astronomer what they thought a lot of extrasolar planets would look like on the surface. Most of the time I feel like I'm the Mars Rover Curiosity.

Mass effect one of the best storys ever and the mako was scratched from 2 & 3 for that very reason everyone kept getting stuck everywhere and Bioware decided to cut the mako from future games.

Awe shucks... I kinda liked motoring around in that thing. It's like the ultimate road trip with two friends.

MassEffect 1 was the best mass effect series ever....full game with no DLC

And it had the deepest game mechanics of the series. It's still my favorite ME game.

I missed the Mako in ME 2 and 3. Shame Bioware decided to scrub it instead of making driving better.
