I have yet to see a PS4 in the wild.

Except for demo units I haven't seen a single one in a store and yet they seem to have sold over 6 million of them so people must be finding them somewhere.

On the other hand I can't walk into a gaming department or store without tripping over XBox Ones. Yesterday my local Walmart had 6 of the Titanfall bundles and 4 or 5 of the regular model.

In other news I'm still enjoying my Galaxy S4. I just upgraded the OS to KitKat which isn't much different from Jelly Bean but does have a couple of things I can't see or use because the security on my work email won't allow it. So I have to settle for going to About Device and seeing 4.4.2 under the OS heading. LOL.

One of the supervisors at work gave me a micro USB to HDMI adapter for it. I'm not sure how much it will get used but yesterday I connected my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to the S4 and was able to play Final Fantasy Dimensions on my LCD TV. My own personal Android gaming console. LOL.

We techies are easily amused.

Same here.  Always see somewhere around 8 Xbox One systems and zero PS4s at Target.

I figured Sony would have a handle on the supply/demand by now but I guess not.

I've had mostly the same experience.  Both the Best Buys I go to (one near my work and one near my house) have had a bunch of Xbox Ones on display every time I go in there, but I have not seen a PS4 at either yet.

Three weeks ago was the only time I saw a PS4 anywhere.  I was at the mall picking up glasses when I noticed a gamestop had a sign announcing PS4's having just arrived.  It was all I could do not to go over and grab one.  Despite the fact that I have several hundred of hours of newly-bought video games that I would prefer to play over anything currently on the PS4 (with the exception of Infamous that just came out), I still felt a strong urge to buy it.  I'm hoping I can hold off for at least a year, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it.  When I noticed that Amazon had them in stock again a few days ago I briefly had it in my cart before I talked some sense into myself.

Yeah there's absolutely no way I can afford one at the moment and the fact that nothing is out yet that screams "must have!" at me eases the pain of  being penniless.

Guess microsoft is taking an uppercut to the crotch! But sony needs to catch up with the supply so it can satisfy the demand. Otherwise people will eventually get bored and simply go for what's available! This certainly has been an "interesting" console war.

In theory you'd think that people would go for what is available but sadly that did not pan out for Nintendo over the Christmas season. I would have loved to help them out on that front but was unable to.

I feel ya,Pete. I'm not in a hurry to drop cash on any new console. However, starting next month I've made myself a promise to start saving for a PS3.

Good choice. I'm sure you'll love it as much as you do your PSP.

I don't think I've seen one either, I might not have near enough money to pick one up at the moment, but it'd be nice to know where I could find one if I did.

I see them laying around every time I go to a Best Buy or Target. Different regions or populations might get different suppy.

That is quite possible. London, Ontario is hardly huge with a population of a little over 300K and maybe the stores here are low in the pecking order compared to some place like Toronto that has 10 times our population. I figured I'd see at least one though.

I see PS4's quite regularly around my area.

Then again though, I live i the middle of nowhere, so it's to be expected I suppose.

You'd think that chain stores would be shuffling stock to the areas that are sold out though.

I work at a Toys R Us so I have a little insight as to why.

Whenever our store gets PS4's, they usually sell out extremely fast. That said, sometimes my supervisor doesn't even put them out for people to see. He ends up selling them on an "ask me" basis. This is mainly due to customers that come in with fake credit cards trying to buy up all the consoles. (a few times newer employees accidentally sold XBO's to customers with false cards). Anyway, its best to call, and speak to a manager because some stores may be getting them in more frequently now, but the demand is still very high.

How did the people with phony cards not get caught at the till? Don't $500 purchases have to be authorized?

Anyway that might be one explanation but they had the glass case stuffed with XB1s so anyone wanted to buy a bunch on a fake card could do so,

I haven't paid attention to PS4 vs. XOne availability, I'm just pissed tha I've only found one playable demo kiosk and all it had was lower-res indie games for PS4. Some Gamestop employees said the controllers were disconnected due to people trying to rip them out. -_-

I want an S4 even more now.

The Galaxy S4 is a really nice phone. The 5" screen is a pretty decent size without being too big to fit in a pocket. I made the decision to stay with it rather than go back to the Nokia 1020 Windows phone pretty quickly. I've got all my Humble Bundle Android games and FF Dimensions loaded on it plus 58 full albums worth of music.

i haven't seen one either.  when the time comes I will probably order one online, I hope.

Yeah it's funny how there seems to be a split between people who've seen them and those who haven't.

Anyway, I still don't have a Wii U so like... shut up you!

i think the best thing about the wii u is the gamepad, but that's because I like playing handhelds so much.  I wish its range was better though.

I'm missing out on playing a new 3D Mario game. That's what bugs me the most.

Even here in Austin TX I never see ps4s and xbones are everywhere ha ha so what does that tell you lol!!!

It does seem to be pretty lopsided in Sony's favour right now but It's still early days.

I Still think the ps4 is the better system dont get me wrong the xbone is awesome I just think the ps4 is the better of the two and I dont know if Sony just made fewer systems or if there selling better but the numbers dont lie right.

The only PS4 I've ever seen is the one sitting under my TV, because my wife preordered and bought mine on launch day. They are waitlisted here. Meanwhile, piles of Xbones including the much-touted Titanfall bundle, and plenty of Wii Us, the latter of which I also have.

THe local Target seems to get four or five every week but they blow them out quick. As for the XBox One, they're everywhere. Hell there was a mountain of them at Costco last week. I had to push my PS4 purchase back a bit but by then hopefully there will be more games that I would play.

Hey, how's the battery lasting on your S4 since your upgraded to the KitKat OS?  My brother in law said that his battery kept draining quicker so he decided to go back to the older OS.

I'm just curious to know how your experience with it has been.

I'm not noticing much of a difference but KK seems to be a very minor update so he won't miss much by not having it.

I haven't really noticed myself but then again I didn't much care given how I'm not going to get any one of those consoles just yet. All I have noticed is signs at my area Gamestops saying they have Xbox one's in stock. No signs about the PS4 though. Read on that as you will.

I've started seeing them in stores recently. I might get one eventually but no interest in the Xbox One.
