Confusing Flash Sale on RPGs

Well I saw Flash Sale today on PSN but when I took a look in the store there were games listed at their regular price like FFX/X-2 HD for the low low price of $39.99, the very same price it was yesterday annd has been since it was released.

I did find the usual bunch of games I have from PSN+ so I'm not allowed to buy. consequently I can't even tell ya what Dark Arisen or Kingoms of Amalur are going for.

I decided to check on PC and Atelier Escha and Logy is $24.99 (On the PS3 store it still says $49.99)

Dark Souls II is $38.99 but I'll wait until I can pick it up for $20 which shouldn't be long.

Tales of Graces F is $17.49 and I'm guessing Xillia is the same price but since I bought it already for $29.99 I can't see how much it is now.

Anyway I'm guessing it's an update thing but I suggest you check the prices on PC for the most current update.

I may get the Atelier game since I have the money in my wallet.

Update: ok I can tell you that KoA is $5 and Dark Arisen is $20. Also the FFX/X-2 for PS3 is actually $30 even though it liss $40 until you click on it.

yeah I guess you're right. I've always wanted to play it, and I have the disc for the second one already.

I think that it is all about timing. Sometimes I beat the full PSN update and only see the FLASH SALE banner without the discounts inside

Many of the games during this sale I have. I'm sure some of them you could get cheaper if you search out a physical copy. I've seen physical copies of South Park show up for $39.99 a couple times on sale (once at Target and another at Toys R Us). The flash sale has it for $41.99.

Dark Arisen is worth 20 easily. Um, so long as you played & enjoyed monster hunter at some point,like customizing your character,and can get behind the neat "night & day system" that adds tension and horror to the mix once it gets dark outside!

Too bad all of them are mostly disc based RPG's. I'll hold out given I'd prefer to own them physically. Nice pirces though.
