Looks like I won't be finishing Child of Light

I'm not sure why but the PS3 version of the game gets all messed up starting in chapter 6. The sound cuts out, battles take forever because they freeze frequently leaving you sitting and waiting to enter a command, the animations are all off and sometimes attacks appear to happen twice.

I tried erasing the game and redownloading it but it makes no difference. Checked other games on the hard drive to make sure it wasn't a hardware problem but only Child of Light does this so it must be that the game is broken, at least on the PS3.

I was loving it but I will not continue to play a broken game so I'm moving on to something else.

Well I was going to get it on psn but I guess it will be for the 360 then thanks for the heads up Peter =-D

I had no problems on the Xbox 360, and I finished the game. Never heard of any problems with PS3 until now. Maybe an update upset something. Hope they fix that for ya.

that sux maN. I really like that game but i havent finished it either. Its really lame that u put the in the time and got invested in the story and cant finish it.

I haven't had any problems with it and I'm at the last boss battle. My cousin finished it and didn't mention any problems, either, and we both have the PS3 version.

Then I have no idea what is causing the problem but it's bad. I tried playing it for a while yesterday but the battles got too glitched and I ended up fleeing at my first possible chance instead of waiting for an attack that may or may not execute properly. I was hoping that a re-install would fix it but it didn't.

Dunno. It was working fine until I got to the beginning of Chapter 6. Then I quit and reloaded and there it was.There is definitely a serious problem because exiting the game causes the PS3 to reboot instead of returning to the menu screen.
