Yes, today is beer day. The day of the week that I blog while swigging a nice IPA or whatever else takes my fancy. Today's beer is a Head Stock IPA from Nickelbrook Brewing

A couple more of these and who knows what will happen on PSN. My resolve will be dissolved.

EBgames up here in the Great White North (which is living up to that name far too well) is offering 80 bucks for your old 3DS if you trade it for a new 3DS XL. That's awfully tempting but I would have to trade in enough old games to make up the other $150 and you know I'll only get pennies on the dollar so will I do it? I have at least 50 Xbox 360 games I don't give a rat's about but still, getting ripped off is never fun.

Oh and the hella cool part is that they let you transfer all your games to the new device before they take it.

Anyway, tune in later to find out. Will mothman end up buyiing Danganronpa 2 without playing the first game? Will mothman end up with a new 3DS XL? and who is Eric Cartman's Father? Could it be Chef? Or is it Mr. Garrison? Or the 1989 Denver Broncos?

Oh wait we already know the answer to that last one. Never mind.

See you next time Pixlbitallion.

Dat beer. Gimme some of that!

Knowing your buying habits, you'll snatch Danganronpa 2 without playing the first game.

Well it's not like I don't already own the first game. :) and I would certainly give you a beer if I could.

I'm not into hops, but that one looks like it might have some flavor to it I'd like.

I don't know who Cartman's mom is.

That one might not be good for someone who is hop adverse. It has a citrusy hop taste to it. My son thought it had grapefruit in it but it doesn't. I'm a hop fan but only when I feel like it.

I'm swiggin too.  Unlike Joe, I do like hops, but today's brew is Sam Adams winter ale.  I feel pretty good.  meant to do some writing but I can't concentrate.  So I'm listening to some loud Jimi Hendrix.

Five F'in Stars on all counts Matt. :)

I just finished off a case of Sam Adams Winter Brew, not all at once, and now I'm taking a break from beer. I'm on a protein kick so I'm just having milk with some chocolate flavored whey protein in it.

Taking a break from beer? That's unpossible. :)

Honesty, I've never been a huge beer drinker. I like it an all, but not as a daily thing.

I prefer the huge beers myself. :)

No I don't drink beer every day either. There was a time when I'd come home from work on a weekday and have a drink or two but now my drinking is restricted to weekends only unless it's my quarterly get together with old friends for cheap beer and wings.

You forgot to say "Same Moth time!" "Same Moth channel!" I could use some beer right about now. Nothing good ever comes of it though. Sealed

Hey stop stealing my (possible) mothlines Aaron.

Sorry about that, and the Batman theme. I've been watching way too much of that show lately. It's starting to get to me lol. How many times will the villians make some ultra elaborate death trap only to leave and not actually see it to fruition? How many times can they almost die and then miraculously find a way out? Where can I buy bullet proof soles for my shoes?

I've got you this time Batman, now I shall put you in an easily escapable situation and leave the room. LOL

I would take that deal if you aren't going to play those games anymore, and they give you enough cash to make the switch to the new 3DS worth it. There's a Batman theme going on because I just finished the newest Lego Batman 3 DLC

I really want a that 3DS XL. It's not an empty want either. I have so many 3DS games that would be much more fun if I didn't have to go blind playing them.

The Batman theme is all Aaron's fault.

You have beer, I have cider. I'm enjoying a bottle of Woodchuck Cider's 802 (formerly called Dark & Dry), it paired quite nicely with my grilled ham and cheese on Harvest Oat bread from the local bakery.

Oh oh oh! Cider is it? Beer not good enough for you? Want to learn about point-ed sticks do we? No wait. Sorry! I'll come in again.

Dark and dry sounds like my kind of cider. I've never seen it here. That sandwich sounds good too. Please mail me one. :)

Oh, I like beer just fine. a nice IPA, a good brown ale, stout, porter. Just not lager.

Woodchuck Cider is based out of Vermont. They renamed the Dark and Dry to 802, which is the telephone area code for Vermont. They have a bunch of varieties, most are sweeter, and they do seasonal ciders, as well. I like the fall one, it's like apple pie in a bottle. The winter one is not as good, too much vanilla and nutmeg. And my sandwich was delicious. I'd try, but it might be kinda moldy by the time it got to you. The bread doesn't have any preservatives. I'm pretty much the same with beers but there are pilsener style beers that I like for a change of pace when I'm looking for something cold and refreshing. I prefer my ciders to be on the dry side.

Can't you just lob a buttie in the transporter and it shows up here after Scottie beams it down? :)

It blew a fuse on this end. Sorry!

I just gave my old 3ds to my nephew, but I didn't have a spare cord or any games to give him.

I heard on Wired's Game/Life podcast that Gamestop here in U.S. is giving $100 for the trade-in and will let you take it home with your old one so you can transfer data. I've heard it could take a while if you have a lot of games and don't use a computer to speed things up.

mothman

Well I gots plenty of computers to speed things up coz I do have lotsa games on a 32 GB SD card. I guess I'm going to be needing a microsd card too because the old one only took regular SD cards.
