Lord of the Rings movies had not released yet or even been advertised, and the kid had explained the reference, so no one actually. lol Unless someone in my middle school had read the books at that point, which is possible, but I kinda doubt it, this was like third grade. lol

Having played Castlevania and only seen videos of Dark Souls, I don't really see the comparison either, other than maybe a medieval-ish setting.

Huh, that's odd, because when they hide the person from harm in interviews, they black them out like Todd does in his videos, not what happened here ... but yeah, he should have kept his Robocop helmet. Was that from To Boldly Flee?
