I'll get to the first one on one of my retro weekends for sure.

Neato. I played it for a good while. Someone should do a Halo game for every generation. I'd like to see an 8 bit one and a 16 bit one.
Same with Metroid: although, I think they give you a code you can put in to get you back to the screen you died on.
That's all I see on the Indie front.
So many platformers make me drool over their graphics, but I always have a hard time with them. I'm gonna keep trying them though. Sly looks great and Rayman looks amazing.
I like the controls in both games: the rolling into a ball in Metroid and the slick jumping in Mega Man. However, I get so impatient after falling off a platform for the seventh time.
Ugh! Crawmerax! My friend and I tried to beat it many a time. You definitely need a group to take it down like a Destiny Raid Boss.
Valhalla Knights certainly looks appealing, but I'm half closing my eyes when I look at your review. I'm scared.
I'll definitely give the other games in the series a try on a future retro weekend. Next one I have scheduled is for St. Patrick's Day in March.
I wish I'd gotten that far. I'll play it again sometime on another retro weekend and see if something clicks and I start "getting it".
