Joust, the true source of Mario Bros. I'm still getting my head around that.

I got to exactly 5:15 in that video. I thought you had to jump between the black ooze and kept dying. How did I know you could just kick them to death! I'll have to boot up my copy on Xbox One again sometime and try and get farther.
What did you have to do for that Platinum?
I never thought about the comparison between Mario Bros and Joust. Interesting.
The pallet swap Luigi is for the birds. I'm glad they made him his own character after Mario Bros.
Where I was wasn't too bad but areas around my work got hit pretty good. They have to boil their water for a while until the water treatment plants get running again - glad I don't have to do that.
The farther you get from Philly the worse the flooding got. Luckily I'm pretty close to Philly but just west of me, where I work, there was bad flooding. The water treatment plants shut down and people out there have to boil their water for a while. I'm glad I don't have to do that. I now have something new to think about in a crisis, unsafe water. Yikes!
I played maybe 2/3rds or so of Psychonauts. I even tried to replay it recently but didn't get very far. This new one plays much better. The action and fighting is pretty good and there's no BS platforming that stops me cold, never to return. However, Minecraft is keeping me from finishing Psychonauts 2 and Forza Horizon 5 is out this weekend. Ah! Rats, will I ever get back to it? I got farther the time I played it years ago. But it's not my type of game anyway.
Well, last time I was fighting enemies in, I think, a hospital parking lot? It's been a few weeks now since I played it. Other things have gotten in the way of returning to it. I hope I can get back to it soon.
I'd love to check out arcade games but my friend is not too mobile anymore. I found several new arcades in my area recently but it's hard to get him to go. A Minecraft Dungeons arcade game sounds fun.
It's chill but I get a bit nervous trying to keep my guests happy. I end up checking up on them daily to see if their wanting anything. I'm like their butler or something. I find myself rushing to the kitchen to whip something up for the hungry guests lickety split while I tend the garden and sail the ship.
I liked Hades. Dialog was good and funny and the graphics really nice. It plays great too. Challenging though.
Yea, the 25th. I played it today on the 27th.
I finally made one of my guests on the boat in Spirit Farer ecstatic today. You gotta feed them, hug them, and do their bidding. It's like being a waiter, valet, and masseuse all at once. Oh, and I gotta farm, tend garden, do the cooking, sail the ship, carpentry, mine, chop, fish, dive, swim, peel shells off the hull of the ship and take care of water dragons. It's more like Spirit Power Slave than Spirit Farer. haha
I'm still playing Spirit Farer. I really like it. Too bad you couldn't get a copy to review.
I"ve seen Minecraft books in my library and a comic series in the comic store. I've been tempted to read one of them.
I noticed that the game changed file size in my digital library last weekend. I didn't try to play it until today though (the 27th) and I got several hours into it.
Yeah the demise of physical games. I'm so deep into Game Pass and digital games now, I find myself thinking that physical games are a thing of the deep past. I was heckling my friend about wanting the new Forza Horizon 5 on disc, as a joke. I've really lost my desire for physical games. I mean, if I had physical copies of all the games in my digital library, I wouldn't have room for them all. I'm at something like 350 games in my e-library now.
