I play EOU in thirty minute chunks all the time. It's one dip into the labyrinth until my TP is spent and then back to the town. Sometimes I've played up to an hour straight but no more.

I just started rereading Foundation on audiobook this week! Hari Seldon is like a futuristic Nostradamus and his Encyclopedia Galactica sounds very much like Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Also, wasn't the Google founders talking about saving all human knowledge in some database too? Do they predict the fall of civilization like Hari Seldon?

I read those Philip Jose Farmer books back in High School. To Your Scattered Bodies Go sticks in my mind particularly.

I like those grippers on your PSVita. I gotta get one of those. I always feel like it's going to break being carried in my backpack.

     Super open world games are really not my thing either. I always get lost in them, but Oblivion has a special place in my heart because its graphics turned me on to the 360. So with this guide I'm using, like training wheels on a tricycle I keep falling off of, I'm attempting to make the game as linear as possible and get a perfect achievement score to show off my enthusiasm on XBL. I think I've made it obvious that it's not easy for me.

I played a little bit of the very first one. Not sure why I stopped. Always been curious about this series.

Reminds me of Age of Booty on XBL but better because it's turn-based.

I remember God Hand and Okami coming out right around the same time, both by now defunct Clover Studios. I played Okami at home, and then at my friend's place, we yucked it up with God Hand. Those two games couldn't be more different.

It's a good time to pick up a lot of games from this gen. There's lots of sales as retail is trying to get rid of old stock to make way for the new stuff.

I really like the new Killzone, but I'm not in a position to shell out so much money right now. I've got lots to do on PS3 still.

The goals are clear, but there's always something that goes wrong to mess it all up, and Vampirism is pretty easy to get. In three of the Guilds, I had to deal with Vampires. Two of them got me infected, one of which I cured right away, and I got it in the last one.

    It's like, Bethesda wanted you to get Vampirism at some point in the game to give you something else to do, or make you change the way you play by staying a Vampire. If you don't want it though, it's a real pain in the neck. Hardy har har!

    I figure each of the quest lines of each Guild takes about five hours or so. There's four Guilds, so that's 20 hours. Then there's the main quest which I'll start after doing the Thieves Guild. The guide I'm using says you can do all the major quest lines and the DLC in 25 hours. With all my screw ups, I'm probably gonna spend about 35 after all is done. So, it's not that long really if you stick to the main quest lines. There's a lot of side quests that net you experience or special items. I'm not doing any of those this time around.

Not long, but maybe long enough to get you to the Himalayas. Zombies freeze don't they?
