He was in Clayfighter for Genesis/SNES and, where I played him, in Clayfighter 63 1/3 on the N64. The image is the Genesis/SNES image. I couldn't find a N64 image of him. I'll have to do that myself sometime.
So apparently Clay Cowgill, who did the ROM hack as described here: http://groundkontrol.com/2013/05/behind-the-barrels-hacking-donkey-kong-part-1/, is co-ower of Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade in Portland, Oregon. I've been trying to find out who did the arcade cabinet itself, the side art, panels and everything, but I can't see to find out. I guess it's someone at Ground Kontrol or Clay himself, but I'll keep searching.

That's the first thing I thought of. What other games could be role reversed like this I wonder?
There's a video of a complete playthrough in that Wired article, and here it is.
Yea, I want to experience that story sometime.
I played the demo for Catherine and didn't really get into it, but I keep thinking about it, so I may pick it up someday and try and beat it and take in the story. Definitely a unique game.
