Actually, I'm kinda obsessed with Valkyria Chronicles II on PSP right now, so my new Vita is going to sit until I'm done with it.
Unfortunely, most of the Gamestops in my area have gotten rid of their PSP games. So my only option is online purchases and one retro game store. I think I have a lot of the games I want to play on the PSP right now though.
Yea, I'm so tapped out with getting a VIta and now having to pick up the Zelda Wii-U in a week. Tapped out until the end of the year, now that I calculate on it.
I haven't noticed any departures in the comics from the Halo story as told in the games. They seem to be very careful about not changing anything.
I did have an issue in the Karen Traviss novels when they arrested Halsey and treated her like a criminal. I didn't get the sense that she was so evil or solely to blame for the Spartan II program from the earlier novels, or even in Halo Reach where she makes a brief appearance. I think 343 Industries and Mrs. Traviss did a bit of revisionist history in order to take some moral high ground on how it's bad to abduct children for your army (maybe to clean up the story for mainstream appeal). I think something like that had to have been supported by more than one person in the UNSC. Halsey being a villan just rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, she's not like that in Eric Nylund's Fall of Reach book. She's actually quite likable and has a conscience about what she and the UNSC are doing to create Spartan warriors.
I've always wanted to try Bully. It looks interesting.
I'm not even a GTA fan, but I'm getting excited by this one.
Thanks, I will. I'm torn right now though 'cause I'm deep into Valkyria Chronicles II on PSP and can't pull myself away from it yet. Soon though.
The system has a 4GB card which will probably fill up fast. Especially with all that free stuff that comes with Plus.
I already had Muramasa on the Wii, but I thought it would be the perfect game for a handheld and especially the Vita with it's amazingly sharp screen. In my mind, I will probably play Dragon's Crown first though because it's new to me. Everyone's been raving about how good it is.
I resisted as long as I could stand it. Then I had to get one. The quality of the screen is very important to me, and I don't want to have to scrounge latter to find this first version.
I'm glad to have Plus now, but it still bothers me that any free game is only yours as long as you maintain your membership. It's more like a rental. I'm not complaining too much though.
