I'm just recovering from a weekend of Just Cause. The first one. I'm using an achievement guide from Xbox360achievements.org although I am taking longer than suggested because I just love flying around in helicopters. My rating for personal enjoyment is a solid 10, but if I had to review it, it would lose some points to loose driving controls and a police force that is sometimes overly aggressive. I mean, if I have a zero alert level, I shouldn't be being shot at by Government helicopters while I'm trying to drive a motorcycle through an obstacle course. That kind of thing sends this game to an 8 from a critic's point of view..

The only time this bothered me was in Gears of War 3. I labored for weeks to get the Silverback leveled up so I could get the rocket shooting achievement and then discovered I needed a DLC pack to unlock rockets. I was mad, but GOW3 was so much fun, I gave in and just got all the DLC through Season Pass. Seriously, though, they should never update the achievement list before you buy the DLC. That's just dirty pool to me.

I got the season pass a few weeks ago. I was surprised there was no DLC to get right away, but now that there is, I can't play it because I'm on a complete achievement run of Just Cause. This will have to wait 'til I've conquered ALL of San Esperito.

Why can't Dark Souls be a movie too. No one's done a really dark insanely grotesque horror fantasy flick that I can think of. I get positive chills of excitement just watching the trailers for all the Souls games. It's such a menacing world. I love it!

For me it's all about the games. I'll get whatever system has the games I want. Which will be ALL eventually. Still not into Kinect though. I don't have one and don't have much of a reason to get it. Steel Batallion did a pottie with Play-Doh, so that killed it for me.

Played Blue Dragon this year. It was a ton of fun. I still have to go finish off Nene though. You have to finish everything you want to in the big world before you commit to the final battle which locks you out of everything once you start it. The one bad design decision I feel in the game.

Yea, not having trophies is a bummer.
