Too bad for the Lynx that it was released at $179 alongside the Game Boy at $90. The Lynx might have had better graphics, but the Game Boy fit in your pocket and came with Tetris.
I was surprised, when I started collecting, to learn that Atari did a handheld. My friend got the one shown in the ad, but I never played it myself.
Nice! This is a close port of the arcade game which is now available on Virtual Console and on Tecmo Classic Arcade for Xbox, a collection I should have but don't. I've got to go find it now.
It makes me think of The Batman Animated Series that aired in Sept of '92. What a great show that was.
Your Steam name "sharky" makes me think of ex-1UP's Scott Sharkey. I miss his snarkiness. Oh yea... about Steam. I'm hoping to get some of my old computers up and running just so I can do Steam and GoodOldGames and such. I try and keep games off my laptop. Too distracting.
Oh yea. I have Pac-Man World 1 and 2 for GBA. I tried PMW2 last year and apparently didn't like it because I rated it 2 out of 5 stars in my personal data base. I don't remember a thing about it other than that.
I love the graphics and look of the game.
I wish there was a site that listed all the new indie game releases. Metacritic doesn't list them even if they are on XBLI. I usually find out about them word of mouth like I did for Penny Arcade Adventures IV and the other Zeboyd games.
Yes, but not on a first playthrough for most games. I want to experience the game without the distraction of achievements/trophies. Some games though, I pick up just to go for achievements/trophies and then I plan my playthrough carefully so I don't miss a reward.
