My favorite movie tie-in game is Goldeneye (N64). Of course, this game was good because Rare was actually trying to build a good game with the theme of the movie instead of just making another piece of merchandise to go along with the Burger King Kids' Meal toys. (There were no such things for Goldeneye, but you get the idea about how licensed games usually turn out.)

My least favorite is probably every other movie tie-in game I've seen.

The Wii U will be fine in the long run, but I don't expect it to ever have the same level of third-party support as the PS4 or Durango. So be it. Nintendo's franchises will do fine, and they have a pretty decent stable of second parties.

I never understood all the hate FFXII gets. To me, FFXII felt more Final Fantasy than FFX did, even though that game is called the "last true FF game." Don't get me wrong, I liked X, but XII had so much more to do in it, had a very refined battle system that could have served as a template for future entries, and unlike X and XIII, you weren't rigidly locked into a long hallway. I wish they'd reassemble the XII team to work on Final Fantasy XV.

Ni no Kuni is one awesome game. I just finished Old Smoky. I am also fortunate enough to have the 400-page hardbound player's guide that Namco gave me for free after my Wizard's Edition order was lost.
