Yeah, I guess sports games are a natural for early video games since the rules are already in place and people are familiar with them.

Yeah, those darn copyright issues. I think that's why it's not on any collections, anyway.
Dreamcast games certainly were more colorful. I think that had to do with SEGA's style at the time, though.
I reviewed the first Legacy of Kain game back in my Dallas Morning News days. I liked the 2-D top down nature of the game, but I wasn't a big fan of having to suck blood. I don't like vampires either.
I reviewed the original Turok game on N64 back in my Dallas Morning News days. Man that game had a lot of fog.
I had an opportunity to review this but I passed up on it because I'm not a big fan of tactical strategy RPGs and I have enough stuff to review anyway.
Yeah this was one of Square's first games. Hard to believe they made this. In Japan the game is called Jumping Jack. The main character in this game was also a secret character in the PSOne kart racer Chocobo Racing, which I thought was a pretty fun little game.
The 90s were a big part of my life, too, but I have mixed feeling about them. I was a teenager in the early 90s, and being a teen sucked. But in the late 90s, I was in college, and that was much better. Gaming-wise, I will say this. The 80s had the best arcade games, but the 90s had the best home consoles (SNES, PlayStation). I think overall I liked the 80s a little better, though. It was fun being a kid in the 80s, and the music was certainly better.
There's a bit too many humans in that trailer to fit the game. :)
I wouldn't know, I've never heard of that movie.
I still haven't had a chance to watch your video review though. Sorry.
