This sounds really familiar even though I've never heard it before.

I saw Reality Bites on Showtime on cable once. It gave me nostalgia even though it was like 2008 and I'd never seen it. I still remember Siskel and Ebert saying Ethan Hawk's character was a douchebag and she definitely should've gotten with the more responsible Ben Stiller. I think that review is where I learned the term "meet cute."

The other New Wave I know is "Blister in the Sun" and I'm pretty sure it's about wanting sex ... I think. I know Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Going Down" is about masturbation. 

Come to think of it, is there a non-Christian/gospel outfit that DOESN'T have a song about sex? Hell, pretty sure even gospel/Christian groups have a few.

That's why I said the second half, after Private Pile ... well, y'know.

Ok, sequel. For a second I thought you meant the reboot was excellent and I remember that getting panned. 

This remake people liked though. Personally, I couldn't get into BC when I played it via emulator. The hook-arm mechanic and no jumping just felt too stiff to me.

I just hope Bloody Tears is the theme song.

I was feeling that way for 8 of 12 months last year. It does get better. My recommendation would be Wellbutrin ... its offbrand buproprion has certainly helped me get out of a dark place.

I've never bought a special edition of a game. The one time I preordered was for Wind Waker, cause EGM's April Fool's joke that there was a more relaistic version you could get for preordering duped me. Still, the Master's Quest OoT GCN disc wasn't a bad preorder bonus.

I also got Blue, but that's the one I wanted. Water beats fire, why is everyone riding Charizard, my 8-year-old self wondered.

Zelda 2 is actually fun, aside from where you start from should you happen to die. That ruined the game for me. Majora's Mask is its equivalent in 3D for my money, because while I loved the dark story and masks in that game, the time mechanic hindered my enjoyment.

So many ads for chicken tenders lately ... 

High Noon is one of my dad's favorites along with Dr. Zhivago and The Producers. I have only seen The Producers (the original, not the remake). 

I beat the first Sonic through emulation, but couldn't beat the final boss on 2 or 3 I think.

I still haven't finished Golden Sun. Hell, I haven't finished but a dungeon or two in that RPG.

I think I've beaten an Arkham game and found riddler trophies with no online help, but it may have been City. Or maybe there were one or two I had to look up, but didn't feel guilty about. Anyway, good job there. 

What was the Platinum trophy?

My most recent hard-earned accomplishment was finally getting the last trophy I needed in Arkham Knight to Platinum. Brutality 101 was a bitch and took a year to get even with online help. 

Otherwise, I'm just proud of the fact I've actually finished the story in most games I own, though that's becoming less true with all these sales and my lack of time. It was a lot easier to blow through all my Zeldas as a kid than it is now to find time or console space for Witcher III or Bloodborne.
