I have been one trophy away from Arkham Knight platinum for almost 2 years now. Brutality 101 is brutal.

I have never played Resistance, but wanted to ever since visiting Insomniac in 2014.
I've played Killzone, but not much.
Been meaning to get to MGS3 for years.
It's like you beat a bunch of games on my own list. lol
If there's a Chic Fil A or In N Out near you, I'd look into it. Their employees seem much happier than most ff employees. I know a friend who works at Shake Shack and got a trip to South Korea out of it. There seem to be ff joints that actually care. Ofc, there are other non-ff jobs that might serve you better.
I played the Platinum FFXV demo and thought it was creative and looked kinda pretty, but the combat was really repetitive. Basically, I held O a lot. Granted, were the game not reviving me every time I ducked up the boss battle, I may have had to strategize more. He actually kicked my ass when I chose to replay him by accident.
My 2016 on paper was awesome. Too bad having major depressive disorder for much of the year screwed me out of feeling the joy of a good, well-paying job. Then again, said job was greatest contributor to MDD, so it's a double-edged sword.
I liked a lot of the celebrities that went this year, but many had cancer, were older, or did c enough drugs that their passing wasn't surprising to me. Honestly, I'm most surprised this wasn't the year Keith Richards left us. Would have really sealed the deal on the whole apocalypse thing after the election.
I'm trying to remain positive about 2017 and beyond, but at times I think it's naive, other times I realize worrying really won't change much so might as well enjoy whatever ride is coming. Guess we'll see.
Let me know if you want to co-op or h2h on Battlefront or Need for Speed PS4. Picked both up on sale. I kinda regret buying the bare bones version of Battlefront for $10 since it really does feel incomplete, but at least I never bought it full price. I would much prefer two stick flying to the right stick only in the main game, which seems odd to me. I crash more on those speeder bikes than I do in NFS as well.
I'm gonna see if Batman: The Telltale Game ( I'm actually pretty sure that's the official title) is cheap enough to justify me buying it. I did enjoy the Walking Dead Ep 2 I got for free on PS+, so I want to play it.
GTA V had to be removed from my PS4 for space and I wasn't really playing it. Those PC mods look fun. Is there a Mad Max car in that version? The more hilly sections of the map remind me of that game sometimes.
I'm lucky to have a decent job, but just as with Steam sales, those PS Store sales make me compulsively spend. I try to limit my spending to $59.99+ tax or the price of a regular game, but I still buy stupid shit I end up regretting sometimes.
I hope your financial situation improves. One of the reasons I have my good paying job is my Master's degree, but that thing also comes with hefty debt payments and my job ends in May, sooooo...
I got Mad Max on sale digitally on PS4 as well. I liked it enough as a rental and it was cheap enough (or I was in the mood to spend compulsively).
I have yet to dl that one, but Battlefront is one sale item I kinda regret. I bought the regular version for $9.99 and there are a few things I don't like about how bare bones it is. I was playing a training Hoth level and realized while it was pretty, it was actually less interesting gameplay-wise than the N64 SotE Hoth level.
They're definitely obscure, but I'm used to seeing vertical scrolling shooter clones enough that the last two aren't weird to me. I had Solar Striker on Game Boy ( or my older brother did before it was handed to me) and PCs often came with free shmup titles in the 90s, so I'm used to all that.
Now Bee Wary is weird. I couldn't tell if you were bee or spider until I heard "got me again" one time the spider won. Agree with above, visuals are great, audio a bit hard to hear. And what is that bee trying to tell me in Morse code?
I don't know about video game character inspiration, but I used to do short but intense body weight exercises from a channel called zuzkalight in order to burn fat.
When you see it, the answer is yes I actually did the exercises, not just look. I did look though ... she could probably pull off Cammy cosplay if you want to tie this to video games.
There's a similar channel called Davidsfitness I used to use as well. He could do Luke Cage cosplay. Forget if Luke Cage has ever had a video game, but seems like he'd at least have been in one.
