Ha!  You're watching Power Rangers?  My brothers loved that show when they were kids.  My brother Jeff's favorite was the Green Ranger.  He wanted to be the Green Ranger for Halloween but the character was so new to the show they didn't have costumes for it yet.  Luckily our aunt made him one, but since Jeff was so little bitty everyone thought he was dressed as an elf.  And Jeff would say grumpily, "I'm not an elf, I'm a Power Ranger!"

Another one of my brothers, Ben, really liked the Blue Ranger.  He was going through potty training at the time, and one time I told him that the Blue Power Ranger uses the potty.  I don't think he had another accident after that!

Kirby Air Riders comes out in a week.  I am so excited for that game.  That's really the game that sold me on the Switch 2.

Namco has had strong relationships with Atari in the past, so this DLC doesn't surprise me as much once I thought about that.  In fact, before Namco made arcade games of their own, they just distributed Atari's games in Japan.  

When I was a kid, I always thought that Atari made games like Dig Dug and Pole Position (kind of surprised that's not on this DLC), while Midway made games like Pac-Man and Galaga.  I was just a little kid, I didn't know! 

The first time I realized that Namco had something to do with these games was when I saw the Namco logo on the Pac-Man's Park maze in the arcade Pac-Mania game (which Atari distributed in the US).  Then as I did more research and learned that Namco made pretty much all my favorite arcade games, I was like, "OK I know who my favorite video game company is now!"

Replanted is just more or less a port of the original game with HD graphics and a few other small editions (like co-op play).  But it's still the same fun game you remember, now you can just play it on modern consoles and such.  I hate it that I missed out on the Garden Warfare games.  Those looked kinda fun.

When I played that Klonoa collection a few years ago, I realized just how much I like the series.  I hope you can get far enough in the second game to get to the snowboard level!  The music there is hilarious!

Speaking of Yars' Revenge, I reviewed a game last year that combined the gameplay of Yars with a Metroidvania.   It was called Yars Rising and was made by WayForward, the Shantae guys (who are making another Shantae game, by the way).

The first Asfalia is fine, but the second one has the glitch.  I found out that it's because I was playing it on the Switch 2 instead of the Switch.  The PR folks got mad at me because of that and said it was in their press release, but I don't remember reading that.  If it's not clear, it's not clear.

I just got a review code for Plants vs. Zombies Replanted.  I wouldn't mind them re-releasing Bookworm in the same way.  That one was pretty fun.

I'm glad it's here because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get past the second world.  But the original game didn't have it and I was able to beat it just fine without too much frustration.  I don't think my gaming skills have deteriated that much.  If they have, I need to find a new hobby!

Namco Museum DS has the best version of Pac-Man VS.

Always wanted to try the Golden Sun games.  Never got around to buying them.  Can't play everything.

Klonoa: Empire of Dreams is a really short game.  It's good, but feels like only half a game.

Willy Beamish also has some slight adult humor as well.  For instance, Willy's pet frog is named Horny.  

Halloween 1985 is a fun concept and really feels like a game you migh've played in 1985.  I just wished they eased you into it better.

Even though I was too old to play the Humgonous games (Putt-Putt, Freddi Fish, Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, etc), I really enjoyed reviewing them and watching my little brothers play them and joining the Humongous staff for lunch every year at E3.  When they made some Blues Clues games, there was talks about having their characters be in cartoons on Nick Jr.  That would've been so cool!
