Ah I bet two player would be fun. Unfortunately, i don't have that right now.
Yeah, it's not like this is the first game to have that kind of character designs. Not a big deal to me. I like 'em all the same.

Just go look at videos of Monster World 4. You can't tell me they weren't inspired by that when they made Shantae.
