Musical maestros, have at it!

So as most of you know my game is up. Or at least an early demo of my game. While I know some of you might take to the more mainstream music I've included, I rather have some more original tunage. The greats are already recognized so there's no need for me to premote people already living it up in a 5 star condominium somewhere! However, there are those of you who are just as talented and not as recognized. Though I cannot give you cash (I'm not making any money off this endeavor either) I can put your name in the game credits! That's right. If I use just one of your songs, you'll be in the credits!

Blake has already donated 4 wonderful pieces of music so I'll be working on putting them in my game when most appriopiate.

I cannot guarantee all submissions will make it into the game but I can at least promise I'll listen to everything I recieve!

PS: I'd prefer a reasonably sized file format. Aka certain audio formats like wav take up lotsa space quickly. However, I might work on finding a way of converting audio files and compressing them more. Sadly, I'm no expert. Advice would be appreciated!

Use a coverter. They're easy to find, just google them.

Thanks, mate! Figured they were out there. I'm just not as savy when it comes to the audio spectrum of creativity. lol.

PS: 2 of your songs are already in the game now & converting them to mp3 was not painful at all.

i will send u some files.  I think RPGMaker prefers .ogg, because they loop better than wavs or mp3's.  At least old RPGMaker was like that.

You're correct,Matt! However, VX Ace plays mp3s well enough. Aka, don't feel like a terrible person sending me mp3s. Heck, send me wavs too. I have a decent converter right now. Blake made me expand my horizons. lol.

Cool! What kind of songs are you looking for? Orchestral? Techno? Western acid jazz? Tongue Out And I know you've talked about it before, but could you give a quick recap of what your game is about? I'd just, you know, play the demo but it's a Windows file and all I've got is a Mac Undecided

"Gutter-delve: Closet cases" is a modern day dark fantasy/horror rpg,Daft. It has quite a bit of psychological stuff going on with all the characters and they're trapped in a sort of fake facsimile of their town that's inhabited by monsters instead of people.

Btw, sorry about the pc to mac gap. Guess I'll have to find another coverter or something.

I would love to help you, however I have no way or methods to accurately record at the moment. If I had a mixer that I could hook up to a PC and record with though, I would definitely contribute for you!

Alas Ben, not having any real musical experience, and my only musical creation being a catchy Persona-suitable tune in the Vita app Imaginstruments (which you can not save any songs or anything, dumb!), I can not help here. If Imaginstruments ever gets a way to save the samples. I'll definitely send one your way! It's not very long, just a few second sample, but can be used as decent battle music for a creepy area!

I'm with you, bro. lol. Music isn't my thing and that's sad on account music is one of the most fundamentally important parts of a game.

Fuck Microsfot, fuck them up their stupid asses.
