Protomen,The Megas, and what it is to be human.

So, a few things need clearing up. First of all Bullet, I want you to know I’m sorry, man. When I first read your post on Blake’s blog I did not process it correctly in my head. Regardless, I agree with you and hope you accept my heartfelt apology.

Secondly, I want Ceva to know I responded to him about my DA account. (The link should be in my pm, bra!)

Most of you know I’m still the “lone-wolf on the hill” when it comes to the civil rights battle-field of feminism and men’s rights activism. Occasionally both sides have valid points and very thought provoking arguments. It’s tragic such enlightening tidbits of wisdom go unheard over the hate spewing screeching and thumping of the war-drums. Right now there are so many zealous brainless radicals on each side of the fence I’m afraid to throw in with either team.

But I’d like to believe that I can be friends with both mras and feminists so long as they are reasonable, kindhearted, and generally open-minded people. As for me? I’ll hang my hat on the humanist rack!

Lately I’ve been listening to Protomen. They’re an awesome band that’s pretty much recreated Mega-man’s story via a very emotionally driven rock-opera sound track. Dr. Light in particular gets much more depth added to his character. I wish capcom would “pay attention” but they’re on the auction block, penniless, and with their heads still firmly up their asses! (Despite saying that I still like Capcom and have stuck with them into the present generation. Getting “bought out“ might actually be good for the company if everything goes right.)

The Megas are not too shabby either!

I still want to see an actual play or opera made featuring The Protomen and their music.

I think something I like about a (anti) social justice blog I follow on Tumblr is that it shows both the bad side of feminism and MRAs, the mods balance each other (and also the people in the community) and they are willing to explain issues, terms and whatnot and also give reasoning. I think you would like it.

I tried watching the first video, but even with the cool animation, good god, was the audio atrocious! However, The Protomen are cool from what I've heard so far, so no problem with them.

I feel you. The audio could have been better. There are parts in "Trouble in the house of Light" that kind of go into this screeching crescendo where I cannot even hear if anything is being said under it. But the rest of the song was so heartfelt I was able to look over it.

The Megas good me pumped as well. They even use remixes of the classic boss sound-tracks in their music!

PS: The blog seems cool! Feel free to link it if you want!

Again, no worries.  Apology accepted.  It happens to us all.

Thanks for accepting my apology,Bullet! When debates get heated it's easier to make mistakes! I've had to re-learn that lesson several times. lol.

This is my favorite Protomen song.

They're all good,it's difficult for me to choose! I also like the somewhat futuristic "wild west vibe" they introduce to quite a few songs. Reminds me of Fire-fly. Matter of fact, it's easy for me to picture Malcolm meeting Thomas Light.

Never heard of the Protomen, then again I'm not to well-versed in the Mega Man lore either.

okay now i've seen everything.

and honestly I don't know what to make of it.

It's like the same feeling I felt when I learned there was to be a Sharkado video game

I have no words right now, just no words....
