Welcome to the Pac-Man Museum Virtual Guided Tour!

Posted on 03/06/2014 at 01:29 AM | Filed Under Blogs

It would be awesome if there was a Pac-Man machine in every Kroger and Kroger customers got to play it free. Then again, I'd constantly be stuck at Kroger if that happened. Hmmm ...

I'll send you a Ms. Message about Pac's better half, as I'm also curious about this starting as a hack business.

Never heard of Super Pac-Man, but now with Wal Mart (which here in Nac does have kind of an arcade and Red Box at the front, but I don't know what games are there besides a claw machine) having arcades too, I'm getting jealous of having apparently missed out on all this.

Pac & Pal sounds interesting, I love weird games like that.

I might like Pac-Land if I played it with a modern controller with a joystick. That sounds like a dumb idea to have just two buttons.

Pac-Mania sounds cool. I didn't realize it had 3D entries before the N64 days!

I don't know why they didn't put the updated Pac-Attack on there. That Cosmo game sounds a lot like Space Invaders in a way.

Arrangement (arcade) sounds like it added a lot to the formula. I wonder if my local used games store has that GCN game with it.

I've heard of Pac-Man: CE, but know very little about it.

When did BR come out? What games/consoles have Vs. on them?

If they ever make a real Pac Museum, you better be the tour guide. lol

My ex-gf's friend bellydanced and taught classes for it, you get after that ass, as I'm sure you're capable of doing the same!I never actually got in a relationship with a person I tried to change myself for, cause I started dating in college at 19 (I use the term "dating" loosely) and had moved on from my middle school/Freshman year of hs crush long before. I probably would have changed for her, though. But if Don Jon taught me one thing, it's that you need to go see Don Jon, it's great! And related to this! And truthfully, all mature relationships! People named Joseph sure are talented! Anyway ...

Sadly, she (belly dancer) lost the costume contest at the bar we went to Halloween 2012, The Goat. She went as belly-dancing Poison Ivy, but some other Poison Ivy stole her thunder. I honestly thought she looked better than girl who won. But not as much better as my gf at the time accused me of at the time, which is another story for another day that I shouldn't have brought up, since we're still friends, but that part of the night was lame.

Awesome bar in Dallas if you can ever go there though, definitely a cool, divey vibe with karaoke, cheap drinks, cool people, and of course, on that night, costumes everywhere! I went as Shaggy, wearing my gf at the time's baggy-as-hell Wal Mart khakis and a green shirt we bought at the thrift that day, plus a cereal box I relabled Scooby Snacks and gave joke ingredients to. My gf was hipster Alice in Wonderland. Pretty much AiW with glasses. lol

But I'm happy you are believing in yourself! Also, your note and overall message today reminds me of this:

In my Netflix cue as we speak!

I also had a better day, because I didn't have as much shit to do and there was a nap somewhere in there. lol

I forgot to post a motivational thingy again! BRB.

I'm suffering from post BaD syndrome.

So that's a no to joining me in MaD, I take it? Tongue Out lol

If there's one thing I hope the Google and Facebook spy archives never release about me, it's how many hours of my life I spent doing something non-productive in front of a screen.

A Dinosaur Eats A Dog (BaD 23)

Musta been a Korean game. *

* Look, it's awful and it's ignorant, considering Koreans who do so eat wild dogs, not ones we know as pets here in the U.S., and which animals you should or shouldn't be allowed to eat is an arguably arbitrary, culturally-based decision if you're a carnivore or omnivore, but someone was gonna make that joke, and it may as well have been me.

As for the game, I mean, my older brother and I found a way to like Rise of the Robots as kids (though we thought it was broken when we found it in a bargain bin years later ... it wasn't, we were just blinded by awesome graphics as kids), so the fact this has dinosaurs fighting at all put it on my map.

I mean, I wouldn't give it a good score if I worked in games journo probably, but it looks like it's good to play with friends and booze.

Misadventures of Link #13

No problem. lol

Well, I realize these are all one-hit jokes, but this zombie guy seemed to be having the same conversation across the three panels featuring him, and I kinda wanted to know how the conversation ended, or how that ranch hand guy might react eventually.

Episode 40: Irrational Pinball Fantasies

Haha. Just read some of Matt R's old Misadventures of Link comic, which has some creative ideas for implementing this necessary feature.

If you've never seen egoraptor's "Sequelitis: Mega Man X" video on Youtube, it's a great illustration of why "help" characters can be so annoying and ultimately taint the experience, making the gamer feel talked down to.

Looks Like We Made It

If you like pop/rock or punk at all, The New America is considered one of BR's worst, but I think it has some of their best songs, with "You've Got a Chance," "Don't Sell Me Short," and "The Hopeless Housewife" being some of my favorite fast-paced and motivating songs from them. Then you've got a nice softer one in "Whisper in Time" which is simple, but has a nice melody, and "I Love My Computer" now reminds me of Don Jon, which is now my 5th or up favorite movie, and was a great sarcastic tune with a strong beat to begin with. A lot of the other songs are mediocre for me, but I think the CD gets more crap than it deserves.

'97-'99 were some of my most memorable years of gaming, being 7-9 years old, but man, we did not play the same stuff then at all. lol And no, I don't mean I played kiddy games, but moreso stuff like Tekken, etc.
