Red Bubble T-Shirts

Posted on 03/05/2014 at 11:05 PM | Filed Under Blogs

These are awesome, have you ever heard of Ript Apparel? I actually got a "Starry Knight" Batman tee that mixes The Dark Knight with Van Gogh's ... well, y;know ... by posting the best picture caption on a Schmoes Know post on Facebook.

You see it in the picture above with me in the middle, Brentalfloss who got the best spot on my tee by being the first guy I went to the sign session for, and his girlfriend. I'll have to snap a pic of the whole shirt, it's hanging in my closet. This was at SGC 2013 in Dallas last summer. I blogged about it then and mentioned it in my "Golden Year in Review" blog last year.

You should definitely check them out too if you like nerdy tees, most of their designs are $10, though I got mine for free.

Of ones you posted, I esp. like Link/Portal, Fallout Cococola, Mega Man(!), It's on Like Donkey Kong(!), and Metroid/ ... can't think of the game, but I love the design(!)

Okami I'd prefer to have a shirt in its wood block style, I don't know what the speed academy is from, and Bisoshock/Powerpuff Girls is a cool combo because of the Little Sisters or whatever, but I haven't played my Bioshock on Steam yet, haven't seen PPG in forever and don't know if I would or wouldn't like it now (was just ok with it as kid), and the design is kinda eh.

For the most part, these are all great though, thanks for sharing!

Do you happen to remember how Nick said to remove double following thingies? I'm double following you, and while you're awesome, the inbox is easier to manage if I only follow people once.

Full 8 hours isn't necessarily ideal for everyone, I've always heard in the range of 6-8 is where most young adults at least should ideally be, but that's a lot better than 4 or 5, which is what I got today ... now give me back my sleep cycle, and stop switching off. lol Actually, I was really energized during my work out today, so maybe that's the way to go. Except maybe 6, not 4 and 5, cause the whoosh noise/dizziness I get moving my eyes too fast and headache from tiredness are a bit much.

Sounds like your voice is either too comically anxious sounding or too deadpan, which is the problem I have sometimes. Luckily, my deadpan reaction to stupid shit college kids do just made dispatchers laugh and still send someone (cause it was college, so they believed me) when I worked in Residence Life. I think they should be required to take your words at face value and just fine you if you really are joking. Maybe they've had problems with too many actual jokesters though. Who knows?

I wonder what a Don Quixote game would be like.

You need to have Java  installed, and whether it works for me on Chrome or Firefox is always a maybe/maybe not situation (I clear my cache and cookies and nothing changes) for me, but when it runs correctly, it's an awesome site.

I wish I had an actual copy, no idea how to save file on nintendo8.com, though there is an option to do so, apparently, and I'm opposed to pirating it.

Believe it or not, I was on Yelp! today to help Pacario badmouth Pack Rat, and I wrote a two-star review for the location I went to (my text did mention the excellent customer service, though, which is true and I appreciate it), and someone from Cali was saying she could taste the difference. It's funny and sad how much money they're making from me going "wtf is the big deal?!" instead of being a fan. lol

You can get your account started through any online device, so yes.

Let me explain:

Step 1. You give them your e-mail

Step 2. They may send you confirmation e-mail, receipts, promos, etc. to your e-mail, but I've never been annoyed with them, so they're not in my Spam. They tend to keep their e-mails relevant and don't send too many, in my opinion.

Step 3. You go to a Red Box kiosk whenever the hell you want and pay, in Texas, about $1.08, with tax included in that price, per movie. Cali might be priced higher as is usual when comparing the two states.

Step 4. You return the movies the next day before 9pm, or accept late fees. I think it's 20 days/$20 when they say you own it.

Step 5. OPTIONAL: You can make an actual account with them like I have, to reserve movies at the kiosk location of your choice and have them send you New Releases reminders.

So it's sort of, yet not at all like say an old Blockbuster membership. Literally all they need is your e-mail and you to swipe your card, and you are good to go. No monthly fees, no nothing, just $1/movie/night whenever the mood hits you.

They also rent Blu Rays and new video game releases.

I could see that too. But depending on the marketing/ad agency, a lot of them are savvy enough to account for those kinds of unexpected changes and wonder what's up, so it would only work for a day or so unless people were willing to do it several times or the group planned it really well to have different divisions of those drivers every day, but it would still be fun.

I actually really liked it as a kid, and so did my brother, who is six years older. We thought it was broken when we found it at a bargain bin, so apparently being young blinds you to the fact of only having two moves being terrible. lol

I'll have to come back, as I'm interested in what our resident Pac-Man fan has to say on the matter, but too busy to read that right now. Will try and remember not to delete this from inbox. Hope you have a good night!
