The first serious PC I bought came with MDK2. I remember being in awe of the graphics at the time.

I admire what sim games do, but I rarely like playing them. My favorite flight games are highly arcade.
Recently is was cool to hear a familiar voice in Splatterhouse, but it wasn't who I thought it was. The voice of the mask sounded like Marcus from Gears, but it was Jim Cummings. Imagine Darkwing Duck being as foul mouthed as possible.
Here's my favs from 2000:
Skies of Arcadia DC
Gauntlet Legends DC
MDK 2 PC
Quake III Arena DC
Hogs of War PS
It's been conjectured that since Microsoft now owns Minecraft that Rare might be tasked with doing something with it. I guess though, that all the major creators at Rare have long since left.
Hammerwatch looks frickin' cool!
Oh no, not Troy Baker again. I mean, he's great and all, but why when one voice actor does a good job, like Nolan North or Troy Baker, do we than have to hear them in every other game that gets put out. It's like in the movies, when an actor gets hot, he's in like everything. Enough all ready. Spread it out a little. I don't want to hear the same voice coming out of every video game character I play in every game. Anyway, that's my rant for the day (drops microphone).
Yes, I just looked at that for my 1994 list. I wish I could get a copy. I'll have to check my retro store sometime.
Yar I'm glad ye be a pirate too. Yar.
Ah sweet. I'm going to try to fit it into my Nostalgic Vacation games, but it was a homebrew that came out for Genesis in 2010. Darn I wanted it to fit in for '94 or something. Anyway I'll make a note and try and place it for 2010. I'll keep an eye out for it's price on various systems too. I may just buy it anyway. Too cool not to.
