It's weird but I was getting frustrated with a lot of old school games this weekend. When I was about to quit one, my last play was a "I don't give two shits" style of wreckless abandonment, and well. . . that was the best round I had every time.

I noticed all the arcade ports to NES this weekend. My friend Mark has a whole case full of them. They're good, but noticeably lower quality than the arcade versions across the board. I think consoles finally caught up to the arcades when CDs happened in '95.
Man, all this talk of the NES version makes me want to play it now. I'll have to keep my eye open for a copy next time I'm at my retro store Jay Street VG.
I've got Jay Street Video Games beginning to really thrive and grow in my area at the moment. I've got two in my area and they are opening more stores all the time. Their stock started at almost nothing and now is crammed full of awesomeness. I guess retro is starting to get big again.
I only need one game I'm crazy for on SNES or Genesis that I can't get anywhere else to pick up a Retron. I have my NES still because of Wizardry. It's the only place I can play it.
Yea. I watched some video of it and I immediately thought of Advance Wars. It does a lot of the same things visually. I'm thinking it's the inspiration for Advance Wars.
I heard that PS2 version, then ported to Wii, being described like God of War, so I picked them up. It got me interested in the series even though I haven't played the new one yet. I'm finding from this arcade Rygar that I really like the world and gameplay.
Ah yes, that's right. I noticed a lot of pc games like that. Basically text adventures but with graphics. Point and Click is the way to go. I wonder if they could be redesigned that way?
The NES version is apparently very different from the arcade version, but I'd try that sometime if I come across a copy.
I did.
I'm going to play Military Madness for Turbografx-16 very soon. I just downloaded it on Wii Virtual Console.
Don't feak out. I was freaking out most of the year, and I finally went for a physical and all the blood work came back great. Sometimes it's just in the mind. I still have some neck strain though. I have to figure that one out now.
